The All-New Honda City CNG

We went down to ANSA Motors to learn all about the all new Honda City that gets an unbelievable combined 750km's from its bi-fuel CNG and Petrol engine.

Once you switch to CNG the first time you never have to manually do it again, if CNG runs out it will switch back once you top up, and the same applies for when you start up.

Every Maruti Alto factory fitted CNG gives all these features way back from 2011 & it's available in India .It starts on petrol & auto-shifts to CNG with an audible click

I understand that it's a a choice of sacrifice. Better fuel economy or more trunk space. You can't have both on a budget. It's still sad though. Cause I'm sure a lot of people, myself included, would like to use this as a family car but that trunk space is very underwhelming for such a scenario.

I get 14.1km/L on my 2014 corolla and it has a 55L tank. I get the same mileage as that city with just petrol alone(i dont refill until i see the gas light). LOL!! marketing :)

I am facing a problem that the needle in fuel gauge drops in accordance with mileage i travel but key thing is that iam driving on cng not on petrol so ideally petrol should not consume. Car is honda jazz ivtec 2009. Its manual tranny. I did n't find any leakage of petrol from engine n tank. I have inspected the car from enercon and carbon emissions were on dot indicating that car is not consuming petrol along with cng. So these two possibilities r out i.e. leakage and petrol consumption along with cng My own analysis is that may be its indication malfunction as new city also indicate fuel average in km/l as i drive on cng so it assumes that car is driving on petrol and reduce petrol indication in accordance with distance i have travelled. But its just my analysis. I need expert advice on it . Experiences of users driving their jazz on cng highly appreciated. Thanks
