Hey Alec, great video mate. Can I ask how tall are you? Im 5’10” and as always pulling my hair if i should get V10 in medium or large. 460 reach works very well for me cheers…

Cheers dude! I'm 5'9" and I would likely go for a medium if I was to buy the bike. You've obviously got a lot of customisation options for sizing and geometry changes on the V10, so I don't think you'd beat yourself up for going with either size, but if you like a 460 reach, I would go for the medium. The best thing you can do is test ride both and see which size you prefer, but that's easier said than done!

Hey Alec, any chance you double checked the ratchet set the bike came with? The 350 hubs should have the 36 tooth drive rings. I just pulled my Phoenix out of the box and can confirm my early production unit came with the 36t.

Dan at the bike shop had thought they were shipped with the 18t, but they could very well be the 36t!

Hi, I am sure I saw you in a video from a fellow videographer that you said the Santa Cruz v10 was the best bike in the world and nothing could beat it. I think your content is very mixed and you can’t make up your mind, it’s misleading and I don’t know now what bike to buy. The pivot or the v10? Which was faster for you when against the clock. Tell me…because without my views you wouldn’t have a KZbin channel.
