ONLY fault i can see is in main saloon , is the TV on a swivel bracket as it appears not to be seen from settees.

How am I supposed to watch the World Cup with friends in the Main Saloon? The way the TV was set up there would personally make me throw a tantrum every time I entered the room. At home, everyone puts the TV in front of the sofa and not to the left of it.

Thank you for the comprehensive walkthrough of the Sunseeker yacht. While the vessel exhibits many admirable qualities, there are a few areas where refinement could elevate the guest experience and functionality, particularly in relation to the yacht's interior configuration. Firstly, the placement of the TV in the saloon appears to be misaligned with the sightlines from the primary seating arrangement. This could diminish its usability during social or leisure periods at anchor or while underway. In a well-designed saloon, sightlines should allow for seamless viewing from various vantage points, especially considering the motion of the vessel, which can affect viewing angles. A reconsideration of its positioning would ensure a more functional and cohesive layout, befitting a yacht of this calibre. Additionally, the day head's current location (so close to the saloon, galley, and dining area) feels too exposed for guest privacy. On yachts of this class, it’s critical that high-traffic areas such as the day head are positioned with more discretion, ideally tucked away in a companionway or near the aft cockpit. This would prevent it from being visible or too easily accessible from primary social zones, thus maintaining the yacht’s sense of privacy and flow for both guests and crew. Finally, while the fabric upholstery in the saloon offers a modern aesthetic, it may be worth considering a return to leather finishes, which are more in line with traditional superyacht interiors. Leather is not only a hallmark of luxury but also a practical material in a marine environment, offering superior durability and ease of maintenance. It also handles the varying humidity and temperature conditions at sea more effectively than fabric. This would restore a sense of timeless elegance, reminiscent of the classic yachts that have set the benchmark in high-end yacht design.

Wow An awesome boat, one of many and each one custom built and designed for the purchaser. Having watched lots of videos over the last 12-18 months whilst not being well and recuperating I’ve thought to myself Are there enough trained ‘skippers’ in the world, especially since Covid messed everything up??? I know if you can buy and run one with crew, you aint too bothered with cost of fuel, but 1,100 nm at 10/11 knots from 13,000 ltrs, hate to see what the fuel burn and range on Man V12 2000 PS is! (great vid yet again James 🙂)

The 2000 vs the 1900 actually makes negligible difference to the fuel consumption (unless you've got the throttles absolutely buried). They quote about 119 litres per hr at 11kn, the range can actually be increased further by slowing down to 9-10kn but that feels a little too slow when moving between destinations.

Looks lovely but shocked how many time the word ‘upgrade’ was used! For the money these cost, some of the items mentioned would seem reasonable choices rather than upgrades (case in point is question in comment below - ‘add on’ for a tv swivel so you can all see it - really?!?)!
