@@superiorgo2368also I attempted this challenge and this is how it went: starting off I did what you did, got a shiny tentacool, than got my next shiny (to use pokemon quests revive feature) and when I got a poison pot so I can level up tentacool. I got a shiny koffing. Then shortly later I decided while I try completing the game, if want a psychic type. So I went for abra which didn’t take too long, then my team seemed almost set, but I felt I’d need to make my team stronger, AND OUT OF NOWHERE GOT A SHINY MAGNOMITE!!! I was so ecstatic since this Mon is good for late game, and now I’m almost done with the second quarter of the game, and is exited to see what is to come for my run in the future. (Also a tip is that when I get a shiny I’ll put an S at the beginning of their name to make sure when I replace them with a new shiny I don’t accidentally sac them off.)

Fun fact. If you want to get more energy without using pm tickets you can change the clock on your switch/mobile device and that will make it so you can get more energy. On top of that once you have the energy you can immediately switch the clock back to normal and the energy won’t disappear and you can repeat it on the same day too

Oh dang, what a blast from the past! I always felt Pokemon Quest was a super undertapped potential, I'm so glad someone is doing content on it. I'm also very glad this video is doing some good numbers for your channel! Looking forward to your future content! My favourite shiny, from Gen 1, is probably Nidoking or Venomoth, bonus points for Shellder. I'd say Ninetails, but that feels like a mad easy answer, everyone knows how gorgeous that is.

It can take a while I went weeks at the beginning of that challenge and didn’t see one. That account didn’t get another after the challenge was done. New account got two shinies before finishing the 3rd zone. It’s all luck, you can speed it up by doing small recipes that take 2 expeditions though. Good luck!

Charmander is the superior starter from Kanto. I do not envy you the task you set off on. Not only does this game not appeal to me at all, the shiny limit is insane. When you beat levels you get ingredients that you can make soup out of. Different recipes attract different types. Sometimes you want the Pokémon that come so you use them in battle but other times you can get rid of them by training them with your other pokemon.

Yah it does. Certain worlds have different drop rates but you also get more ingredients from scrapping the equip stones. A bigger thing is upgrading the pots. It will make much stronger pokemon. Thats why I had to take my team to level 100 in this vid. They all came from the first pot. @@Mr.Freeze420

I don’t totally understand. So I fought Gyarados because it’s the hardest level before final boss. Every once in a while a dragonite will show up in its place.

I'm so sad bc I had to get a new phone and lost all of my quest data with my account that had two of my favorite shinies and I never wrote down the code for it like I screenshotted it but that phone just won't turn on anymore

Odds are about 1/300-1/400. Most people will beat the game before they get 100 Pokémon. So a lot of people don’t know about it.
