Random Haydo no I’ve gotten it multiple times over the years on different accounts. It’s not hard, just buggy so when you do nail it, it doesn’t always count. It’s not difficult to land on top of an enemy and hold melee lol.

I know how you feel, when I completed all the campaigns on legendary for the master chief collection. You get the helioskrull set for halo 5, which showed how you went through hell and shows to everyone that who ever see this armour. It’s a fact that you’re a badass for that feat. All that I Have: If they came to hear me beg: 172 attempts | Rhino Hugger: 2 Attempts | Two For One: 1 attempt (By my dear friend Intrepid Lancer lol) | All Vidmaster achievements completed with a full squad of Lancers. Annual: around 20 attempts | Vidmaster Endure: at least 50 with a full Lancer squad after mapping out our plan | Harbringer: About 3 hours before learning how to box the a.i. in a corner behind me and taking the fire. Then killing Warden as fast as possible and pushing him to the back each spawn, while snipping random ai behind me to protect my ai until my shields dropped. By far the hardest. | Did not get Monopolized. So missing 1. Lancers are Halo Completionist. Mad props to anyone who here who has Manopolized or any of these achievements. I know how hard they are. You're the type of players I probably ended up spending countless hours in Halo 3 custom games, Forge events, Community events with Facility B5D, Black Water Ops, etc. And to those of you who don't have these achievements I still love you. The Halo community changed my life. You're a part of that meaning in some way you have too.

I remember doing the Halo 3 vidmaster annual achievement with a couple of my friends when I was a kid on a school night and literally begging to my parents to let me stay up later so that we could finish it since we were so close to the end and it was already far passed my bedtime. Ahhh, I remember my friends from school and I sitting down the first weekend of the vidmasters and knocking them down one by one. I love and miss this sort of challenge in games. It beat our asses, but after when we were sporting that beautiful recon helmet in Halo 3 we felt like kings. 3:52 there are a couple of tricks that makes this achievement easier. For one, go into a nonscored match solo of course. What's nice about nonscored campaign is you can make manual save points (that revert back to the previous check when loaded but it's a save nontheless) and just if anybody dies, then quit the game and load the checkpoint. There are some things to note about this achievement that I might not have covered so look it up. Just going off of memory. You cannot load while in the match. You have to leave and then load to the spot when nobody died. Then do the warden skip near the end. look it up if you don't know what it is. Honestly the achievement for winning a wargames match on the 3 original maps was the hardest halo 5 achievement for me. There was a lot of rng and the achievement was bugged so that a win for only counted if you got a core victory, which if you played war games then you know how hard that is.

I'm the proud owner of the Vidmaster achievements and 2 for one, and the not so proud owner of the Harbringer achievement (the reason why so few people have it is probably down to the fact Halo 5 offers no challenge nor reward so no one has any reason to get it). The monopolized achievement isn't that hard either, just takes a bit of times to nail some of the speed running elements. I completed it in 7 hours semi-speed running it (basically just messing about trying out some of the speedrunning bits) for the massively underwhelming armour that you get in H5 for completing the HMCC (that they ruined along with the ODST armour). One of my biggest problems with 343 is they are so absorbed with this modern money grabbing game culture, like seriously back in the day grinding out some Halo Reach for points and levels for beautiful armour was amazing, and then grinding out the Vidmaster achievements and actually being so excited to get all the Halo 3 armours so I was actually motivated to go and complete all the achievements. Then, Bungie gave away Recon for free as they handed it over to 343, and 343 took away armour customisation depth (and offered NO REWARD for the H4 legendary campaign) and then offered the reward for Halo MCC legendary as a buyable option and also offered no reward for the H5 legendary campaign. Showing off my Katana or my Recon back on Halo 3 was honestly some of my more prideful moments from my youth, and I ended up playing Halo 3 multiplayer on custom and ranked for thousands of hours. I didn't even play 1 hour of multiplayer from Halo 4, and I played probably around 10 hours of multiplayer from 5. There's just no reward, you just have to be lucky and that's really disappointing. I wouldn't even mind the micro-transactions if they simply just rewarded the player for some dedication to their game.

gavin haselager you dont have to do it in one straight run, all of your best times on each level added up is what it counts. halo 2 has a good amount of glitches for speedrunning so if you can get them down it isnt too bad. good luck on Regret and Gravemind though.

Rhino hugger is an easy achievement, all you need are some marines with rockets.

Golden Falcon no what you do is garrison your Spartans strategically and put a marine squad in the far towers of the map, then make a crap ton of wolverines with a few scorpions and like 2 warthogs (scouts and splatters). Place 2-3 wolverines per rhino and use the rest as an offensive force. Takes about 30 min to build and position but when it is done you can go quickly through the mission and suffer no casualties. -Guide to that achievement

Sunlitstream 264 The warthogs are pretty good as sacrifices when scouting new terrain however, the scorpions, when placed in numbers, take down nearly everything almost immediately.

3RAG0N SNIWAK true but you need a unit or two to scout that way your units can instantly target the enemy and not be hit by surprise, also I usually use 1 or 2 warthogs, no more than 2, mostly wolverines,and scorpions (which are super powerful)

Love seeing this video in 2019, I played this with my buddy when it first came out, after a few weeks we ended up getting every achievement in halo reach, not very easy at all but we did accomplish them. The firefight 1 was very hard but there was a glitch if I remember correctly, that made that achievement not as hard as it was perceived to be.

Two For One.. ugh took me 6 months. I got the Katana in Halo 3 back in early 2008. I worked hard for Two For One. On my achievement list (I only have original 1,000 points from the OG achievs cus I stopped playing after I got them, game was done for me) Two For One was one of the LAST achievs I got, it may have been the very last one. I still remember to this day how long and hard it took me to get it, that and the get a Triple Kill with a Sword without dying in Halo 3 were the two that gave me the most trouble. Of course once 343 took over the game they just gave the Katana to everyone which I learned years later after buying the MCC on PC now, and it still pisses me off since I can link my OG Xbox live account to MCC on PC to unlock it legit that way, but instead 343 said Hey guys that super difficult cosmetic that took you 6 months of gameplay to unlock? Yeah here everyone can wear that now. Good Job guys! Still proud of that OG katana I wore in April 2008 though. Just wish bungie and 343 had thought more about those of us who earned the Katana legit before they gave it away to all. I’m curious to know how many had it before they added more achievs to Halo 3 back in the day.
