@@countzero1136 I don't think RGB was ever actually good, personally. It seemed like an industry-fueled viral trend to spend a significant amount more money for things that included cheap LEDs soldered in. I really did not ever understand why it got so popular. Many of my earlier fans that included LEDs mounted in them, I literally just ripped them out myself. I like quiet, stately devices, not tacky disco light shows. So, I like this case build, but calling it a "wooden" build when the majority of it is still probably plastic and metal is kind of... odd. I wish the case actually had more wood, although I guess then it would be incredibly heavy, depending on type of wood used. Also kind of awkward for building with, because then you couldn't ground yourself to the case while putting parts in.

Lignin is the component of wood that forms the rigid structure, its basically colorless, and as to why its more expensive, wood interacts with water and moisture like crazy so i'd guess that has been a pain to find out with how to put wood on there in addition to the wood not making the block leak due to it shifting because of absorbing moisture

The walnut on the water block will take more work and a better quality wood than the slats in the case. The case slats can basically be put through a moulder and basically off to finish. The block will have been machined and the tolerances to get the face flush with the block are more difficult because or the nature of wood. That's the simple version. I am guessing they used an adhesive to ut the walnut on the block. I'd say the case slats are attached with fasteners.

01:34 hold on did he say Ligma Edition? * Checks EK site * Lignum. Hmm. Ahh it's Latin for wood (I learned after both Googling then finally unpausing the video). That's no fun. Gotta be a crass joke here somewhere. Eyyy I saw your motherboard down at the port Lignum hardline tubes. There we go.

Well, what's I'm could say, one of the most beatiful PC I've seen so far, from the lastests pc I've saw, because, actually nowadays it's seems everything all about led gaming, and all gaming pc is an led building, without proporse; and Wood PC is true, is wild, is savage, is rustic, is unique and still pretty cool and bring the green refreshing idea! I just love it!

Damascus steel with a think layer of brass or bronze would look like wood and would function as an effective heat sink.

Linus, How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

That is a beautiful build. Now if I could just find some walnut planks I would build one myself. I'm thinking of an all walnut case with beefy copper heat sinks, since they go together color-wise, and wood-grain colored fans. For the fans I'd have to apply some walnut veneer, but it would work, trust me.
