Oh my, was really into The Allman Bros when I was growing up, being a 15 year old girl and listening to the album "At Fillmore East", or the songs "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed" and "Whipping Post" or Jessica, I was in total awe. Being a granny now of 67 and coming across the next generation fills my heart with joy. There is still great music to enjoy, and this song is really really heartwarming and great.

First time I saw the Allman Bros was at the August Jam at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in 74. They closed the concert after ELP. I miss my summer ritual of seeing the Bros play. These boys know what it's like make quality music!

The last cd I purchased was Southern Blood and I really want both Allman Betts releases. I wondered if that would every happen again, I mean actually hearing something worth a shit these days. Saw these guys last year in Charleston, SC and they were absolutely amazing. Met a few of the band members after the show too. These guys are a class act and the great music of the Allman Brothers and all classic southern rock lives on through these guys while they also produce a fresh new range of creative music of their own at the same time. Good to see that there are still some great talented musicians out there for those with an ear to hear.

Watched ABB for the 1st time last month with my wife. I'm a lifelong fan of The Allman Brothers and these guys blew me away! Of course it's always good to still be blown away by great music. They opened for Blackberry Smoke and jammed with them for the encore. Helluva night!

When I first came across this band, I must have clicked on a link thinking it was the Allman Brothers Band. Then I see Dickie Betts, but it is of course his son. Then I see Devon and Berry Oakley Jr and they start cranking some classic ABB. What joy to have them around. Berry really looks like he enjoys himself on stage. ABB still around and Duane has a daughter as well. They are still here-beautiful.

Going to see these guys this weekend in El Dorado, Ark and I'm psyched. First live show since March 2020... I saw their dads in the late 60's and became an Allman Brothers fan. If you haven't listened to the acoustic version of Melissa on here and want to spoil yourself it is beyond incredible. I never get tired of their music. Glad these guys are so good and can carry on the classic rock legacy.

Just saw Allman Betts Band perform this song live last night at the Macon Auditorium. In the beginning I didn't know what to expect, in terms of musicianship and overall sound, but there is no doubt in my mind that this latest manifestation is serious business, and takes the genre to new heights of subtle, nuanced innovation. Needless to say the harmonized guitar work of this song was spot on, and genuinely passionate. Without pretense these guys seem to be putting their whole soul into their live performing, and it radiates and mesmerizes.
