The hole in the neck was to paralyse him from moving[Acupuncture]....when Uryu used his shrift she couldnt react his arrow she was stuck....all the past episode was was dodging all the arrow with no sweat...she basically k.ord herself

This ep is kinda making sense tho... I think I'm pretty sure Ichibei could very much be the one who tell 5 ancestors to split SK into pieces. What Yhwach did to him was like ancestors did to SK but in reverse, he had limbs and his head (brain) without pupils

The bells were tolling. That means uryu did awaken volstanding but incomplete. I'm thinking maybe yhwach forced him to awaken it, and he chose uryu as the one ti defeat senjumaru. Also maybe senjumaru needle poke in uryu neck caused the volstanding to be incomplete.

I'm pretty sure that Senjumaru stabbing Uryu in the neck was meant to paralyze his movements and senses, hence why when Ishida switched their positions, Senjumaru didn’t initially realise that she herself was caught and why she didn’t try to break free before being struck by Uryu's arrow.

The way I see it, since all the quincies have Juha's blood in em, when he activated his true power, Juha's blood in the sternritters gave them a boost....and when he activated his third pupil, the power literally started to overflow in Uryu and he had a hard time bringing it under control and even deactivating it

I see what you mean with the flames being unstable but anything that harms Jugram, it inflicts misfortune on him then he can just nerf it and disable it, it worked with the Iron schrift, so if he gets burned or if it disorients or affects him then that’s just misfortune, allowing him to tip the scales.
