I have been worn not knowing what to pray anymore. I read in Nehemiah last night where the people stood and I followed along standing and speaking the praise to God so I think its wonderful you ask us to stand to pray, I felt beat down and immediately I was given relief in this prayer! Praise GOD. I asked Him last night to give me someone I could listen to and who would teach me like He wants me to be taught then I wake up and am told to PRAY. Which I have been having issues with. Not that I don't want to pray but that I have felt like I'm always repeating the exact same prayers with no Spirit felt leading. This has blessed me this morning. Thank you!

Sister, a good start is praying the Psalms. First simply ask repentance for your sins and forgive others for their trespasses against you. Then read a Psalm. Offer praises and Thanksgiving for His blessings in your life. Ask for protection for you and loved ones, In the name of Yehushua Ha'Mashiach (Jesus Christ). If nothing else, read a Psalm. Blessings

I have tried telling my mother also , she is now 89 years old, she loves the Lord our God with all of her might, heart and being, she also is a life long Catholic and I feel that will not change no matter what I tell her. She does read the Bible everyday.

Pastor Rabbi Schneider: I love your teaching through Christ, but our inner man needs to rid themselves of any sin. Im beginning to see their is only a remnant preaching about getting rid of sin. Yes, the prayer to have a greater relationship with God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ is critical, but God will not answer our prayers if sin is not dwelt with. I do love that Ephesian prayer and you my brother. You may have touched on my concern in your other sermons. I will go and listen to them. God Bless!

I enjoyed season 1 but am a bit on the fence about the artistic liberties they take with fleshing out the gospel with things that aren't in scripture, and a bit heavy on the comic relief and Jesus being silly etc. Still tryna figure out where I stand on that tbh, but scenes like John 3 16 with nicodemus and his deliverance of Mary Magdalene are absolute tear jerkers for sure

@@euanharrison7125 I've contemplated those things myself. The way I see it is that in addition to being the Son of God, He was also man. So I imagine that there were fun moments in His life, also. This depiction has enabled me to feel that I can have a closer relationship with Him, for some reason. I still have the ultimate respect and awe for Him. But those aspects have made Him feel more reachable for me. I had a VERY strict upbringing in catholic school in the 1970's and the nuns actually physically abused me (and other young students) in my school. This REALLY interfered with my relationship with God and Jesus for my whole life. I felt unworthy, scared and ashamed of myself for so long bc I thought these women dressed in nun garb were holy, and if they didn't like me (as a young girl), then Jesus didn't either. So this representation of Him on The Chosen has REALLY helped me feel that even I can have a close relationship with Him. This is the first time in almost 50 years of my life that I've felt this way. So, although it may or may not be totally accurate representation of Him, it has helped my life tremendously. I'm grateful for that. ❤️🙏

@@user-or1ye3iz6d thats really awesome to hear and I totally get that aspect of feeling closer as I felt the same tbh, felt I could talk to Him in prayer as a man and just be honest with him and not feel any pressure to say the perfect prayer, whilst still respecting His divinity and Lordship. I think theres just a wee bit too much of the comic relief side of him in the show and would like to see more of the authoritative and Godly side that he showed when he rebuked (with love) James and John for wanting to attack those dudes who were shouting abuse at them. Thats my only gripe tbh. As far as the acting script set costumes etc it is a very impressive show
