Now I know where the got the idea for the Devil's Advocate movie with the moving sculpture scenes. On the temple of Zues the statues come out of the walls and are to give the impression that they are coming to life. To people in those days some would imagine supernatural powers to those that ruled it. But the actual devil nope. Could become a self fullfilling prophesy though to some extent.
