@@glentight Well then that's on the AMA. The rule is straight up stupid now. There is no reason not to allow Joey to race this year. That's how the term "grandfathered" is used. He would be eligible under the current rules. It's stupid to dump on a new sponsor to boot. There would be so much good press and extra excitement in the 250 class. Not to mention, we need more teams to help build the sport. This is not how it should go down. It's not too late AMA, Joey could race the East. If not, Triumph should maybe put Joey in the 450 class with the 250. It may not be perfect, but it's better than sitting at home not getting race day gate drops. How many times have we heard from racers coming back from injury or whatever, and say they need more gate drops to get up to speed. New bike and sponsor should get this, it's better for the sport we all want to see grow!

@@tomsams4430 he isn't though, not since 2018, when he "pointed out". *He knew that, Triumph should have known that.* That's where the stupidity is, with those who not only thought he *was* eligible, but made moves and signed contracts based on that erroneous assumption. With the AMA being a bunch of useless snowflakes anymore I think someone should start an outlaw series that rivals the ama series. Have it be run what you brung. Even if it’s an early 90s 2 stroke. Make tickets to the events more reasonable and not have bunch of bs rules. Bar banging and ghost riding allowed. Air the races on regular free channels so anyone can watch. I bet it would take over the AMA series.

career advice: I would refrain from using cooksey mob. You need a new catch phrase dude.

Appreciate your concern, but the Mob disagrees with you.
