I just today found and bought a blue hued ball python whos going to arrive just beofre my birthday. Shes a hypo orange ghost and has light greyish baby blue and a deep blue for her coloring and ive seen a few other morphs like the hypo pastave ive seen turn out a deeper blue with greyish blues as well.

Hypo can sure dance with some colors we think are difficult or impossible. Hypo had long since been overlooked in the hobby but times are changing!

I've heard of grey blueish hues but I've not seen a true no doubt blue as of yet. Who knows tho. Things are happening daily in this community :)

GHI Mojave hypo has insane colors. There is a newer albino that is a really dark burgundy color, different from monarch and ultramel.

Um kinova I think has a red ball python like brick red. Red stripe,Special,spot nose,are some of the genes used.

The rusty red / orange I have seen and they are so awesome. I just don't know if it's possible that a firetruck red can be done but the pursuit of attempting it should still result in amazing looking animals :)

I believe in a fully purple morph that could appear bluey as a hatchling, probably an ultra rare recessive morph with infertile expressions, just our luck lol

Nice subject ! Our Fire Confusion leopard was bright orange when we received her and its slowly browning out but sunshine brings it back :P In few years ill add Enhancer to it chasing that bright orange and black snake ^^ .

You pretty much can you just got to mix the right morphs and there is apparently a green ball python that Dav Kauffman has he hasn't posted anything about it but he mentioned it in a video he got it from Africa as a wild-caught

We are loaded with tips! We have a few videos on care, setup and feeding tips. But the biggest thing right off the bat and a quick way to sum it up is to get the right setup with temps and humidity. 90 degrees on the hot side and we recommend a heat pad to do it. VERY important to control this with a thermostat or they will cook and it could even become a fire hazard. Try for 80 degrees on the cool side but even 70 is ok just not less except at night slightly. 2 hides one on the warm and one on the cool side. A water bowl and some humidity but remember they aren't a jungle snake so not to much. And give them space. Their biggest concern is feeling safe and I think sometimes people will "love them to death" if that makes sense. Sometimes they do not want to be seen for a long time. If they feel safe and comfortable everything else typically falls into place on its own. Enjoy your new friend :)

Best way is to know the pairing that created them and then research the genes. You of course can always send in for a full panel genetic test with RGI and if any of those genes are present they would be able to let you know :) That said unless you are breeding them it would be 100% for curiosity sake to know but I still 100% understand wanting to know even in that case.

Green is easy just look at lesser, I have 3 snakes betingelser more or less green , one is Carnivore Lesser, one is lesser Spotnose and one is lesser het Red Axanthic cinnamon, from different breeders, so green is a possibily, if you have an Email I can send you pictures green to dark geen

I will have to look into those combos. I have definitely seen green on a ball python I just can't remember the exact genetics at play. That said it was a very light mossy green. Not the greens you would see on a Green Tree Python for example.

They are mostly breeding reticulated pythons and I'm not sure he does any ball pythons so maybe that's what you saw perhaps.

@@nickdavis6027 it could go two ways, outbreeding depression does exist, on the flipside it can result in heterosis ('Hybrid Vigor') leading to a healthier animal than both parents. i would think a Blood x Ball Python (commonly known as SuperBall) would be a way of introducing red genetics into the bloodline. there are some really red variants of blood pythons, maybe crossing with a sunset ball could result in more red (then backcrossing back to bp to make F2 hybrids, although its probably a big project)
