I always feel like Kinger MADE HINSELF crazy as a ways to cope. He tries to surpress the terrible memories (e.g. the death of his old friends) - which is why he is so forgetful. And he stays shallow-brained to not think about the situation he finds himself in (kind of like what Ragatha showed, but in a further state). Nobody could ever find peace with there being no hope to escape, so if he could just be "too dumb to care," he might at the same time save himself from abstracting.

4:06 Now THIS, this I don't see from any other comics made about TADC. I wouldn't say these are unexpected friendships but the thing is it's rare to see these friendships and alliances between these characters (ESPECIALLY Gangle and Zooble they are almost always left out or we just don't see much when they are brought up). I also love the dynamic of Pomni trying to "reinvent" the circus so the gang can feel more at ease and less likely to go insane. I know this is most likely not how the show's route is going to end up but I just love seeing comics like this where everyone is chill without having to start some actual serious shit, I also love everyone's personality here

Such a amazingly awesome story again. ❤💙💚💜 I love Pomni and Caine's idea and the way the characters use it. Gangle letting out her sadness, Zooble being desperate about herself, Ragatha admitting she's feels stress from the things that the others expect from her and Jax showing his frustrated self under his veil of chillness. Kinger just saying nothing also makes so much sense. I think he actually sank into his mind deeper than usual. I can imagine him feeling some sort of immense emptiness, which is why no words can be said either.
