Great idea. Having been to Kruger and to Masai Mari it a pleasure to revisit. No one day is complete. Daily visits give a more complete experience.

It’s so calming to watch the lions whilst listening to the other lovely sounds of nature. This is Junior and Buddy if I’m not mistaken? The older lioness is just absolutely beautiful. You can truly see and feel her wisdom. Would be so interesting to hear everything she knows. The koppie pride is not a pride I know very well, so thank you for sharing your moment with us. I hope mom stays safe, and we’ll see some healthy fluffy cubs soon.

I just saw your video & you asked us if there is a lion pride we’d love to see & yes I would love to see the Hollywood pride especially after the documentary “Big Cat Country” with Sam Davis & Nathan Pilcher. I haven’t heard anything more about the 3/4 different prides in the documentary thanks so much

I believe that the Hollywood pride is in Zambia on the Luangwa river. Tintswalo safari lodge is in South Africa.

@@beautifulinfinidee7233 yeah that’s right but does anyone know of any videos of these various prides & just how they are doing or if they are still surviving they were all awesome prides & I’m worried if the new cubs are still alive if anybody knows anything please reply back. Ever so Thankful

@@greeneyes325 I've actually watched big cat country and looked myself for updates. Unfortunately I haven't had any success finding anything current or seen any info about a new season.

I’ve been really enjoying this channel..thank you for everyone’s hard work and expertise. But I’ve been wondering something. Sometimes, a male will produce cubs with a group of lionesses then venture off for a very long time….long enough, it seems, for the cubs to grow a lot…. When the male rejoins the lionesses and their cubs, how does he know they are his so he will not kill them? Sometimes, it appears that the father has never even seen his cubs, yet he knows they are his. How does he know? Thanks.

I spent 2 weeks in Sabi-Sands adjacent to Kruger (no border) 20 years ago. The most impressive 'holiday' that I ever experienced. Firstly, what impressed me were the people - the intelligent, gentle native tribes and the hospitable, knowledge, 'old-world' style Dutch people. Secondly, I found the wildlife astounding. Africa is one of the last remaining bastions of natural 'wildlife' as it is supposed to be. However the last remaining wildlife reserves are being threatened and encroached upon by humanity. There needs to be a worldwide approach to the preservation of our wildlife territories in Africa, Asia and South America in particular. I see 'animal lovers' all over the West wasting time and money on worthless animal protection projects such as artificial Game Parks and Zoos. The huge resources that go into these wasteful projects would be much better deployed in places like South Africa, Kenya etc for the protection of native wildlife habitats under the paid supervision of local residents.

The reason. Lions can be skitchish with vehicles is way to many of them way to close to the lions
