@Yankee70002 жыл бұрын
Really? So you see these causing hundreds of deaths every day ? There are thousands plying the road and yet never a story about these flying apart at speed and people being launched into their deaths. And while it is great to have robot based vehicle assembly but not so long ago Detroit was assembling their vehicles the same way. Labor became expensive, robots took over. Let this country’s economy get to that state then that can happen. In the meantime let’s congratulate these guys on making an honest living.
@firionrazar37972 жыл бұрын
@@Yankee7000 As I wrote: I respect the workers and their craftmanship, but robots do a more consistent job. I consider that 3 wheeled thing a bad joke called a vehicle, not when it was first made in the 50's (and before), but for now modern days. "flying apart at speed" - what speed? 119km/h is not fast. Put it on a motor way and try to pass a 40to truck or let's see sidewind effect on it. "people being launched into their deaths" well statistics about Indian traffic accidents-death in close relation to their low average speed are not favorable for your argument. Again, don't get me wrong: three wheeled bikes with cargo space were a great idea to get economies back up after the second world war but since then technology progressed. Have you owned a brand new modern car? To me, it's the best (safest) feeling.
@Yankee70002 жыл бұрын
@@firionrazar3797 I have no idea where you went with this: these were categorized as coffins, in which case either they are falling apart at whatever speed they move or are crashing uncontrollably. Somehow you presented some speed 119 km and a presentation on motorways and sidewinds. These are City and small town transports. They aren’t seen in highways. It’s a poor country. With limited resources and manual labor they are creating people movers. Whenever this society progresses to the point where these poor man’s transport is no longer needed, they will wither away, as as happened everywhere else. Let’s not criticize a less developed based on highly developed economy standards. As far as my ownership of a modern vehicle is concerned, I don’t see how owning any of them makes a difference other than informing me about the difference between a high tech Japanese or German vehicle and the tech of a three wheeler slow people mover.

Very interesting video. Saw a lot of technical features about these little scooters I did not expect to see. Everything from welding practices, using non caged ball bearings in the steering, the number of splines on the rear axle yoke connection, the use of a 2 stroke engine, the gas tank filler cap being inside on the dash board, the surprisingly large wiring harness. And the use of disk brakes on the rear. With the coming requirements for electrification of these small vehicles, it will be interesting to see if these 3 wheeled trucks/scooters adapt or go away. It looks like these shown here are intended for passenger/taxi service with seating for a driver and 4 people. I would not be surprised if up to 7 people are seen on these things and they are used to handle a ton or more of cargo. Those rear springs are quite stiff. Stick some weight in the back of these things and they will be much less prone to tip over. These are still low speed urban/farm working vehicles. Definitely built to an affordable price point. And some of the design features are still high wear and maintenance features.

Hello Amazing Tech. Those Tez Raftars look very versatile and handy for use in busy, congested areas. Nice ladder frame, with good rigidity. Highways filled with larger vehicles would be avoided, if survival was important. Lots of grumping in comments about welding. The lay-up bench did tac-welds, while correctly placing the parts in assembly jigs. Then the real welding station went over all of it, resulting in solid, fairly accurate frames. Nothing wrong with all that. What you saw there is exactly how it is done in hundreds of industries. Be nice to train the welders up a bit. And see grease on every pivot, especially for the drive-shaft splines!! I know, in Sweden for example every last part and step is way more advanced. Hooray for progress, etc. If Sweden had 400 times the population, you better believe things would be quite like Pakistan or where ever. They are making the best machines they can with what they have. Doing better than just adequate too. Please ensure all your valuable workers go home undamaged, every day. The companies all do better with healthy, experienced employees. Best wishes for 2023.

The welding Jig does help only sofar, if the welds are bad. I saw on the finished Rikshaw welds which show the people are not Trained or not interested in fixing. I'm sad that the system in PK did not change since i was there and that is over 30 Years ago. I did work in Faisalabad and near Lahore, i was even involved in recuiting of mechanics. Waht is still missing is a good Training for the people which leads to the result that a good Idea turns out only a medicore result. I wish the good luck.

@@Swiss_Pinoy Hello SVO. Your assessment is correct. A few years ago I retired from a massive company. All over the world the engineers or smart people have retired or moved on. Everything is being run by accountants now. Thusly a whole lot of short-sighted, narrow focussed people are making all the decisions. Such as; Don't train anyone, forget loyalty, make it barely good enough, safety adds costs, buy the cheapest materials. And so on. No wonder nothing works and everything is nearly impossible. All key decisions come from Wall Street now.

what's the nice work here? look at the welds, it's a complete tragedy, the whole construction is complete bullshit
@Maxi711492 жыл бұрын
it's all nice and good what you wrote. but let me laugh at the weldings, those who travel on this are not safe. the workers can't weld, so this project wouldn't cost more if it was properly welded, it wouldn't get a traffic permit with us

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING … IMAGINE IF THEY HAD THE RESOURCES OF A MODERN AMERICAN FACTORY …. THESE PEOPLE WOULD BE EXTREMELY COMPETITIVE … There is a lot of very good engineering going on here so that all of the purchased parts fit with little effort using a basic welded frame with little “standard” quality control … NONE OF THIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN BUILT WITHOUT GREAT THOUGHT !!!!💪💪💪💪💪

Very nice video of life in a functional factory set- up to earn enough for basic family needs & the product to serve the basic 200c.c daily transport mode for people & goods.Whereas we use a 3 litre vehicle to justify modern living standard.

Eu amo a simplicidade como é construído as coisas na Índia. Não gosto de frescura.

Seems very well made for a fast production I notice its got a wind shield and wiper but there is a huge gap on top of the window frame you would just get soaked and the inside of the dash and instruments would get soaked and rusted out . The water would pour all over you and the cluster and the seats and the bottom of the car and in nothing flat it would be toast that is before the instruments went up in smoke from all the water pouring in I cant beleive they just left the huge gap for the water to pour in

Similar to Piaggio Ape. I love those things. I wish I could drive one here on Long Island. They'd run me right off the road. Maniacs.
