I prefer the stealth mechanics/takedowns in The Amazing Spider-Man games and in Spider-Man Miles Morales. In Marvel's Spider-man, you can only stealth takedown enemies if you're on a steel beam or a lightpost or something. In Miles Morales, you can takedown enemies whether you're on a ceiling or wall. It feels like a spider thing to do and it's *miles miles* better.

3:31. THIS takedown animation is burnt into my memory, it would pop ip in my head whilst playing the new games on ps4/5. Fighting animations and takedowns like this is what the new stuff is missing

how much of the game is actually like this? this looks fun but from what ive seen its mostly fighting robots and shit like that lol. i wanna fight thugs and goons not robots... thats boring. and the open world looks like it doesnt have much in terms of thugs to fight either...
