So lovely Poorna! Reminds me of my childhood growing up! We had a kitchen with a big firewood hearth and a chimney in our kitchen and a kerosene oil 2 burner cooker as well. Our ‘Amme’ used to use the firewood mostly, but we also ground all,our spices at home, everything was bought, washed and dried at home unlike now. I never knew the ‘kos thiru’ if that’s the correct word could be eaten, reminded me of ‘delchips’ you are doing a great job Poorna, like Nadee who has the ‘traditional me’ channel, I love watching both of you.
