I don't want to overwhelm you Nasto, but Miss Fle will need a nice washstand to do her washing, so she does not have to bend. Have you ever seen Marwa's mom washstand at the back of the house? It is done really nice with two wash areas one for washing and the other for rinsing. I would suggest make the outlet of the rinse water to be used in the kitchen garden. Just a thought. Outside kitchen is coming on nicely, I see Miss Fle in it by next week cooking for the workmen.

🇯🇲🇯🇲 Nasto, you are never happy unless there is an ongoing construction project. More power to your tenacity, engaging persona and being articulate which help to keep your pockets half full. I love that appropriately white lawn chair when place on the foreseeable manicure grass-scape will set your must-visit home apart. Add some portable cushions that’s removable during the predictable rainy and scorchingly sunny days. Surely, you’ll need some more except “half-moon” chairs for the gazebo. Each pair of chairs however should have 2 sets of tables ( preferably a table to the right of each chair since most people are right-handed); one table is too tight for 2 persons having a full plate with drink. Don’t forget to protect/wrap the legs with plastic or left-over “iron sheets” to prevent direct contact with maram or grass to prolong against rot. If you don’t mind asking, why not sharing?

Hey Nasto, I know it’s already done but I think the main window of your outdoor kitchen should’ve been facing your compound, because in time…..more people will be coming from the front of the house, than the back, so whilst in the outdoor kitchen you wanna look out to the rest of the compound, but good progress regardless. Also, I know you have said you want this new bricks so that you don’t have to paint them, I think once your outdoor kitchen is complete you should paint same colour as your cottage, your compound will be very beautiful if there is a uniform colour, then you will also use that colour to plaster and pain your perimeter wall, then landscape accordingly with time. As well as this, when you build your chicken house, make sure you also paint with same colours it’s very classy when it’s uniform, love from 🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼

Congratulations on 30k. Road to 40k. I love your chair table combo - I find outdoor stain better and last longer for outdoor furniture, but you still need to protect them from extreme weather by covering them. Removable bright colored cushions will great. Keep all exterior paint of the buildings in the same color scheme, will look more uniformed and elegant. Liam needs a little play area. Maybe next to the outdoor kitchen so Miss Fle can keep an eye. A swing, a slide, a small sandbox. Blessings always.
