Thr Antonov AN- 225 is much larger than the C-5 Galaxy. The AN-124, which the AN-225 is developed from, is also larger. I've been in and around the C-5, and it is huge, though.

Walter Fink - 225/124 are indeed larger. Remember though - there’s 1(!) operational 225 and 24 operational 124’s in comparison to hundreds of C-5’s and C-18’s. In addition, the C-5m and Globemaster are far ahead of both the 124/225 in every metric, save for absolute max payload. (e.g. - the range of the 225 @ max load is 2,500 miles with no in-flight refueling capability. The max range of the C-5 is 5,500 miles although it’s effectively unlimited since it can in-flight refuel.)

Just to let u know the Boeing 747 first had the nose door than the c5 borrowed the idea then the an 124 copied the design of the c5 then it was extended to the 225 miria
