Same here. This looks to be a significant jump in performance for non-Ray Trace/enabled games that beats out 4070. I'm just wondering if the drivers need to be further improved for Ray Tracing to compete with NVidia's RT performance... or is that just the performance cap on the card for RT feature set. 🤔🤔

@@mohammedalshalawi5848 Depending on what resolution you planned to play, in 1440p a i5-12xxx should be enough for the 7800 XT, if you could go for a 13 or 14 gen one

Even with the recent introduction of the 7600 XT, the price gap between that and the 7700 XT is still huge. Here in New Zealand the price gap is $250. Meanwhile the price gap between the 7700 XT and 7800 XT over here is only $100.

The B760 Mother Boards are nice. I have one from MSI and it’s very nice. Paired it with 32 GB of RAM, 2 TB NVme SSD, i5-13600K, 4070. I was going to get a 7800 but due to making videos and live streaming I went 4070 but of course a month after I get my 4070 FSR 2.0 came out. So next time most likely getting an AMD GPU

Depends on the game, it's not an upgrade from a 6800xt, but a huge step up from two gens back. It looks amazing vs Nvidia, not so great vs themselves. Great price to perf tho!

I absolutely love the GPU. I have 474/1000 of the Limited Edition and this this XT 7800 XT just smokes my RTX 3060Ti in every single way, what a giant upgrade. The aesthetics is gorgeous with the nice light bar surrounding the entire GPU and LED Devil and accents on the backplate, it really draws your attention and looks like it means business LOL. That case is okay, love the red on black and the size is not my cup of tea but it does look good. As for the cooler, that's a giant deal breaker, it looks like shyte and almost negates the need for a window because that's all I see besides the fantastic lighting on the GPU. I'd rather see more of the motherboard and a nice water block with a rad and awesome lighted fans. To me, if you're going to have a windowed case, put some effort into the aesthetics cause this is just plain boring to be totally honest. Now that's said, I love your videos, very informative and I have to say, you have a real screen presence and know how to captivate an audience but the skill it takes to maintain that throughout an entire video is nice to see. Great channel, keep the awesome reviews and builds coming, it's a real treat to watch a build come together and feel like you're sitting in the same room, very informative and enjoyable. Cheers✌😎

Good GPU but you can deny RT is becoming more popular and offering more in terms of the looks of games. However AMD is king if you're an online player but for single play NVIDIA is a strong contender

Card seems impressive, temps are great on that case. Though not the RGB on the Red Devil, it just looks crappy leds or not diffused well. Would have liked to see a bit more of it. Great info as always. Cards nowhere to be seen in the UK just now :/

My new rig, i have chosen ScanUK for a change, my old PC had an old 1070GTX OC, my new rig has a Manufacturer Overclocked 20gb 7800XT that 3 slots wide, similar to the 7900XTX, if i can get to the PCIe4 x16 at the bottom of my new Z790M-Plus, i could add an M.2 adapter for 4x 2tb M.2 SSD's, I'll have to removed the GPU briefly to get to the two free M.2 slots (3x M.2 mobo) but due to the GPU 3 slot width I'll likely only be able to use one of the free M.2 slots and a heatsink m.2 ssd will be tight, but might act like a gpu support, maybe, lol. Hopefully i will be able to fit the M.2 PCIe4 x16 adapter so i can add more storage space. Should be fun 😊.

im in Germany, and as of today the rx 6950xt costs 680€, and the rx 7800xt costs 580€ (both are the XFX cards, which i prefer) - which one should i get? The 6950xt is the better card, but its on RDNA 2 instead of RDNA 3. Is the extra 100€ worth it?

This might sound really weird to say but I'm kinda waiting to see what intel is going to do for their new GPUs cause I think the A770 and A780s were pretty good at a reasonable price and if the rumors are to believed their next gen cards are targeting 4080 performance, also the videos are pretty fun keep it up

@@Trisstan20 the newer ones that have vulcan work fine but the problem is driver support for older games where they still need to really catch up, and quite frankly even though I’m excited for next intel gpus the reason I haven’t bought one or even an amd gpu for that matter is that I play a lot of stalker (which is an old game series running on an even older engine) and this game doesn’t really like any other gpu other then nvidia

I think we, and by we i mean ALL PC GAMERS, should start to reverse their air coolers and use the back as intake. Because GPUs pump a lot of heat inside the chassis and modern cases have 3 top exhaust. Sucking fresh air from the back is way better than sucking hot GPU fumes.

Do you guys use gpu brackets for cards like these? Im looking to buy the hellhound 7800xt, and am a bit worried about it sagging since its a bit long and heavy, atleast compared to my now 3060 ti

Black cables would look 10 times better, the white just looks so out of place, if it was a white based build then yeah it would look a lot better, maybe even the white Nzxt board (yeah it’s expensive but it’s the only true white mobo tbh) but white on black looks a lot worse than black on white. Performance is good but I’d definitely consider having slightly more aesthetics as well as performance

@@chalkdemon8019 check your cases airflow might need to move front panel fans about so gpu gets fresh air, micro atx cases and smaller ofc have worse thermals compared to a full tower like i have corsair 750d airflow edition nice temps, also check gpu thermal paste might need re-doing

See tax season coming up going to buy a new card really was edging to try amd again mostly because of the budget to value comparisons with nvidia. Then you hit the problem with graphic driver issue when doing Ratchet an Clank, That really brought up some horrible memories of my pre nvidia days with amd and that constant problem with there drivers.
