How blessed was I to be a member of the Columbus Boy Choir from 1966-69, first to preform The Golden Vanaty, Took it to the South American Tour, and the North American Tour ,my voice changed in the middle of a solo. Went from 1st soprano to 2nd Alto at tours end. And came back home to Alpena Mi. Music has alway been a part of my life. My heart broke when the Boy Choir closed.

Oh wow, Im class of 2002. totally miss this place so sad the choir shut down and just the overall politics of the world that had it shut down, not one adult there made me feel uncomfortable during my 4 years there so sad to see it shut down. But on the other hand its nice to know what everyone’s been up to and check up on my family that are all grown up and succeeding nicely! Atleast class of 2002 Michael Maliakel my old roommate got a position as Aladdin on the NY broadway, and of course Mr. Tetelmann.. Will never forget Dr Litton saying heart of fire brain of ice! That one stuck with me really good!, RIP he was truly like a father to me :(

USUALLY TAKES AWHILE TO FIND WHERE IT SETTLES, SO LEAVING THE CHOIR IS TYPICAL. GO BACK HOME AND MAYBE FIND ANOTHER CHOIR, PUBLIC SCHOOL CHOIRS OR SOMETIME AN ADULT CHOIR IN CHURCH.
