The American Mine - Hike And Explore - Death Valley, California

This video describes the hike to the American Mine in Death Valley, California the way it was on 4-11-2019. It's a fun hike to the mine and once there we explored a few adits and the old mining camp area.
The mine shipped high grade silver ore in 1937-38. There is some mining data going back to 1914. Gold and copper were also mined here.
We also visited another old mining prospect on the return hike which was also fun. We hiked a total of 7.5 miles with an elevation gain of 1875 feet.
