The Americans S3E9 & S3E10 Review

Agree this is the best season of this show and is also one of the best shows on tv. I was a child during this period in time and lived in DC/Maryland so all the subtle nods to the time period and DC references are priceless. Wish more people were watching this!

Best show on tv that absolutely no one watches. I'm just glad that FX has substantially lower viewership requirements than it's parent company or this amazing show wouldn't have made it to season 2. I really hope they're able to finish the series off on their own terms.

The Americans is such a good show. So tense! So intriguing! Such great acting and writing! I think it could get even more interesting when the wall comes down and, at least ostensibly, the cold war is over.

Does anyone else suspect Pastor Tim might be KGB too? Like, I know not everyone in this show can be a spy, but as Paige was calling him I was thinking maybe the Centre sent Pastor Tim to divide Paige from her parents to encourage them to reveal their spying and bring her into the family business, but also to test whether she'd keep their secret, which she almost didn't. I'm probably reading too much into it.

The Americans is soooooo good. The end of Season 2 had a bit of wonkyness, but I think we can all overlook that for how good Season 3 has been, it's just hit it's stride sooo well.

It's amazing how not many people are watching this, it's really good. Funny thing, i was getting caught with the Good wife on cbs and the showrunner for the Americans (Joe Weisberg) was in one of episodes playing himself.

I have a feeling FX are waiting for this shows Breaking Bad moment. Which was pretty low rated for the first 3 or so episodes then blew up afterwards. Hopefully something similar happens with this.

I couldn't care less about Nina & Martha. I LOVE the whole Paige aspect. When she was looking between her Dad & Stan I was like "Don't do it Paige! Don't say or do anything!!" 😱😳
