Good job on upgrading it; the end feeling is satisfying when you get your system the way you want it!

Great result with the TF536, since a rejuvenated A1000 is known to be rather picky in terms of relocators and accelerators. Does the original floppy cover still fit without having to cut off the top right corner? Any idea if the Parceiro II is compatible with the TF536?

So good thing is with this specific relocator (perfect design), no modifications to either the A1000 or the TF536 needed to be made. The floppy housing fits just ever so snugly with everything in place. Not sure about the Paceiro II compatibility. I really like that device, but I already had the TF536 on hand. Maybe I'll pick one up in the future. Although I did say this was the "final upgrade" 😀

Final upgrade..? How about upgrading the Rejuv to 2MB chipmem? 🙂 The 2MB A3000 Agnus is hard to find, but the less unobtainable Agnus from an A500+ can also be used (with adapter).

For the purposes of ultimate compatibility, is that 3.2 ROM switchable to 1.3, since that version seems to have the best compatibility for games? Anyway, I still have my Amiga 1000 that I bought way back when it first came out! Haven't fired it up in years, but the next time I think about it, I will. Good times.

It isn't switchable by design. I'm sure you could install a rom switcher. If you did that, I think there might be issues with the TF536

Awesome stuff for sure. My A1000 has a Vampire on it, and I keep meaning to track down one of the new rejuvenators! 1 or 2 MB of CHIP RAM would make my machine just about perfect. The TerribleFire accelerators are great. Very versatile!

The 1mb chip ram opens up a lot more software. It is a bit of an exercise to fit with all the header pins to slot in, but definitely worth it.

Glad I watched this before I tried installing my TF536. I got one of those Haake ribbon boards. I was concerned about timing issues with the length and you have confirmed the issue. I will order the same relocator as you. I am running a reproduction Rejuvenator with 2MB chip ram, ECS Denise and 3.1 ROM. Thank you for an awesome video.

Glad it helped. I picked up way too many relocator boards with most not being able to work.

That is one Dagwood sandwich to add the Hard drive! I did not think everything would fit and still close the case, so a great engineering job! What do you use as an Atari ST video to VGA converter? I recall you had it in one video, but I don’t recall which. FYI: Watching, I know see that you trick out your. Ataris much like old car enthusiasts trick out their cars.

Thanks for watching! I enjoy trying things out like this. For the ST to VGA converter I use an ubeswitch design or a st2vga from Exxos (I have a few). From there, I have a few LCD monitors that accept the 15khz signal, like the one in this video so nothing else is needed. For other monitors not supportive of the signal, I use an OSSC along with the VGA output to convert to HDMI.

True, but it isn't really about the speed, just about the ability to run whdload :)
