Oh Jessica Wintersrom I love your art work and your sense of humor. I would say you are one of the best technical teachers on youtube. For me as soon as I hear Aussie Foetrol you loose me. Very much out of my pocket. I really did enjoy the painting

I understand. For this technique though, a quart of Aussie flo lasts me about 6 months plus. And I do it a lot. Yes, it’s pricey but you really need just a tiny bit. Thank you!

Jessica when you do the paintings where you lay your colors down with your scraper or whatever you want to call it. After you lay different colors down and you go to lay the black down that's in the bigger jug is that black your last layer mixed with your pouring medium just like all your other paint? Please and thank you. You are such a sweetheart and I enjoy watching all your videos and your art speaks for itself is just magical . Lisa Dumas 🎉🎉❤❤❤

I think it is accurate to say I have now tried @ 30 different pillow paints, three of which were Shelee's recommendations for Europe and the U.K. All of them were un-pourable out of the can. The best silky, stretchy one was a French paint 'end of stock' , so, on sale in a crazy jungle orange color. Quinacridone nickel Azo Gold, Dioxazine Purple and Green Black with black catalyst were stunning. Only had one liter. Anyhow, this is a super video Jessica and I love the cave-like depth of it. Can't wait for next week! I hope you saw my last message somewhat explaining the Jennifer/Jessica dyslexia.

I'm so sorry that it's so hard to find the right ingredients in europe. In theory you don't need housepaint. A while back I saw a recipe with amsterdam paints and an acrylic binder by pebeo. I don't have any tip on how exactly to mix but I know it's possible. It will require some research and experimenting...

@@WinterStromArt Thank you lovely. Yes, when I have my mad scientist moments I scribble endlessly in the poor ragged notebook and mix some mighty strange things together - 'hubble, bubble, toil and trouble' or, since we have spoken of Tom Waits before...that song makes me laugh every time 'What is he building in there?'

Lovely! And your explanation of the colors and thickness was excellent. I used to watch another artist on KZbin that never understood how she got so much green in her paintings because she didn't use green. But she used bunches of blue and yellow... Color theory girl!🤣🤣🤣

I always love to see the artist’s process, and think about what I like and I would do differently. I love colour, so I would have kept more of the colourful part and tipped off more of the darker part. Swipes are so interesting and I like the use of the small palette knife to scoop and drag small areas. The finished painting is great.

That's what I love doing too. I wish I could hear other opinions while painting. So many times when editing I realize things I should have done differently. Oh, well... that's how you learn
