Hi Adam, great collection by the way, the reason why Aardman Classics doesn't have the 3 Wallace and Gromit shorts is because the BBC owned DVD distribution rights to those shorts. I hope to see Part 2.

Great DVD collection you have there! However, I do advise that you buy as many more DVDs and Blu Rays as you can, ESPECIALLY 4K Blu Rays if you get a PS5 or an Xbox Series X! I can’t stand the thought of a download/streaming only future! Just recently I went to a physical HMV store and bought 4K Blu Rays of Groundhog Day and How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World not just because they’re both great movies, but also to help keep physical media AND physical retail alive!

I also collect physical media, a real boon since streaming services are so unreliable with films being constantly rotated in & out of their libraries. I purchase from boot-sales, charity shops, online & HMV/Fopp collecting both DVD’s & special edition Blu Rays of my favourites. I recognise a lot in you eclectic collection & a couple I’m now going to check trailers for I wasn’t really aware of. Carnival of Souls (1962) is certainly a weird film, I’m not sure what I made when I saw it. I’ve also become more ruthless over time in purging films since space became an issue. My main focus is 1990’s films, it’s the era I grew up in & these films keep constantly reeling me in. Adventures in Babysitting is the film John Hughes never made but could of been one of his works.
