For those of you saying the size of the band makes a difference, I agree. You have to remember these songs were recorded in the studio. To properly play them live you have to have more people to play all the instruments and mixing of the song. Oh and the fact they are using the same equipment as the Beatles used makes it even more special. Bravo Analogues Bravo!

I discovered these guys a few years ago. I bought several of their DVDS where they play complete Beatles albums from start to finish. Incredible. But…… since the DVDs were made in Europe, when I got them they did not work on my DVD player….so I actually had to buy a new DVD player that would play DVDS with the European format. Well worth it. I highly recommend buying these DVDs. The MOST incredible thing about these guys is that when the Beatles made these recordings they laid several tracks on top of each other and never actually played them live, but these guys somehow are able to actually play these complicated songs live. Blows me away!

They are fellow dutchmen. Their goal is to reproduce the Beatles music with the same instruments as the one used by the band for the studio recordings and to play it live like that, something The Beatles themselves never did. A few years ago I saw a documentary on The Analogues in which they explained that they had to go into extremes to get their hands on some of the old instruments. Very impressive!

Just as one does not need to don a powdered wig to play Beethoven, this extremely talented ensemble proves that you do not have to don Beatle wigs to play their music. By stripping away all of the impersonations, the audience is not distracted by "Ooh, he looks just like Paul," and is able to focus on the truly significant aspect of the Beatles,. I[ve watched several of their full length concerts, performing different Beatles albums, but they are a bit hard to find online. Also there is a one hour documentary produced for a Dutch TV station that goes into their process of acquiring gear and recreating the songs. A must watch!

Great Show! i played piano, organ, and Synthesizer in groups for decades in the 60's and 70's and later as a solo act. I wonder how they got their hands on some of the period equipment that hasen't been around for decades. It must have cost them a fortune. I am aware they had a backer that provided the money. I don't recall his name now. This production is as close as you can get to the original studio work done by the Beatles! WOW!

Dear Beatles lovers, as a sincere music lover and amateur arranger & composer, I can only conclude that the approach and performance of the Beatles songs by The Analogues is incredibly perfect. You won't find a band like it anywhere in the world and I predict that The Analogues will have a golden future across the planet with their near-perfect renditions of this timeless music. It's time for the whole world to experience these performances that leave audiences in total delight. @@oldschoolfunkster1 in terms of looks and the visuals yes, but for sound, I feel The Analogues are the best because they attempt to be as authentic as possible with their instruments. There's multiple documentaries on their journey to replicate some Beatles albums

@@calbassist2494 ... In terms of sound, The Fab Four sound EXACTLY as the original Beatles. How better can you get? They even won an Emmy Award for a PBS special. They have recordings that you can't even tell if it's the originals. This is my first time hearing this band. Although they are good musicians keeping true to the songs...they STILL don't sound like the Beatles. It's like saying the Philharmonic Orchestra Does The Beatles is a tribute band. Great sound. But definitely not the best.
