For those of you saying the size of the band makes a difference, I agree. You have to remember these songs were recorded in the studio. To properly play them live you have to have more people to play all the instruments and mixing of the song. Oh and the fact they are using the same equipment as the Beatles used makes it even more special. Bravo Analogues Bravo!

I discovered these guys a few years ago. I bought several of their DVDS where they play complete Beatles albums from start to finish. Incredible. But…… since the DVDs were made in Europe, when I got them they did not work on my DVD player….so I actually had to buy a new DVD player that would play DVDS with the European format. Well worth it. I highly recommend buying these DVDs. The MOST incredible thing about these guys is that when the Beatles made these recordings they laid several tracks on top of each other and never actually played them live, but these guys somehow are able to actually play these complicated songs live. Blows me away!

They are fellow dutchmen. Their goal is to reproduce the Beatles music with the same instruments as the one used by the band for the studio recordings and to play it live like that, something The Beatles themselves never did. A few years ago I saw a documentary on The Analogues in which they explained that they had to go into extremes to get their hands on some of the old instruments. Very impressive!

I[ve watched several of their full length concerts, performing different Beatles albums, but they are a bit hard to find online. Also there is a one hour documentary produced for a Dutch TV station that goes into their process of acquiring gear and recreating the songs. A must watch!

Just as one does not need to don a powdered wig to play Beethoven, this extremely talented ensemble proves that you do not have to don Beatle wigs to play their music. By stripping away all of the impersonations, the audience is not distracted by "Ooh, he looks just like Paul," and is able to focus on the truly significant aspect of the Beatles,. Their timeless music. Bravo.

How interesting it is to watch and listen to them play Beatles music. I remember when it seemed a new Beatles song would appear every month or perhaps every week now and then. But into the mid to late 60's, they didn't spend much time playing them, except for special occasions, but the music was always there on the radio or turntable. But now we have these Dutch boys performing the music as best as it can be performed as the lads from Liverpool would have done if only they could have. The Beatles were too busy creating and recording the music we all know and remember instead of recreating it onstage. I remember when Paul performed the song 'Yesterday' on the Ed Sullivan Show and the string quartet came in at the perfect time. To this day I don't know if it was pre recorded or if they had 4 musicians backstage to perform on cue. Regardless, Paul nailed the performance and it's something to see to this day on KZbin. But in this century, we only have the Analogues to perform what the Beatles wouldn't or couldn't perform on stage. If I was Billionaire, I'd have them come to my country and let them perform for all of us to see and hear. It's always amazing stuff.

I love these guys. Their attention to the details including using the exact type of instruments the Beatles used for each individual song...Very accurate, accomplished musicians... Their performance of actual Beatle albums, track by track is a joy....

Dear Beatles lovers, as a sincere music lover and amateur arranger & composer, I can only conclude that the approach and performance of the Beatles songs by The Analogues is incredibly perfect. You won't find a band like it anywhere in the world and I predict that The Analogues will have a golden future across the planet with their near-perfect renditions of this timeless music. It's time for the whole world to experience these performances that leave audiences in total delight. oui "similitude", mais il manque l'essentiel, la passion dans les vocaux... Trop bons et techniques, tout celà et bien réalisé mais ne touchent pas les voix originales et c'est toujours le plus difficile à approcher, des covers sympas par des profs de musique qui ont bien étudié les parties...

Les Beatles n'étaient pas des monstres de techniques mais suffisamment agiles pour créer des productions complexes, ce qui les caractérisaient c'était le charisme, la passion, le mélange de leurs voix et leurs compositions! Là avec les analogues on entend de relativement bons techniciens, qui ont bien disséqué tous les morceaux et qui les recrachent comme sur le disque, en moins bien :) @@watersmoke1114

@@edised71 heu non pas vraiment-Le fils de Georges n’arrive même pas à refaire ce que son père lui montre. Il y a dans ce groupe de reprise un guitariste qui joue avec des attaques onglet toutes vers le bas, ce qui est une erreur etc…bref c’est mou et erroné
