If not with Claudius, then perhaps later. I cannot imagine the Romans would have completely ignored Britain. Greed to have access to Cornish tin, or as a redoubt for losing candidates for the purple could have led to punitive invasion. Or never-ending conflicts among themselves between Celtic warlords. Augustine might not have had contacts in Kent to bring Chrisitanity, ergo no Prospect of Whitby and a Celtic influenced entity. Fun question to speculate upon.

Lol i love how boudicca has a statue even though she lost the battle. I can't think of a single man that had a statue built after he lost.

It just shows her power and influence. 💪🏼

@@WorldHistoryEncyclopedia except her power and influence was only because she was a woman. She lost the battle. No man would have a statue built after he lost a battle

Without the Roman conquest perhaps Britain (or more specifically England) would have kept her Celtic language, or at least had more of a chance to!

It's fascinating to contemplate. Thanks for watching!

Caesar invaded britain intially in 55 bc. Although after 54 bc the Roman wouldn't return in nearly 100 years. U should have included caesar's invasion. He also wrote about what he saw.

Although Rome had a few outposts in Britain, it never actually conquered Britain and was repelled several times. This seems to ignore or suppress Britain’s well-documented early history and civilized development by the Britons (Welsh) stemming centuries earlier from the migration of Trojans and then by some of “the Lost Tribes of Israel”: BritainsHiddenHistory channel.
