On a previous video, the hardest part about a combo like this was finding an opponent who could _destroy_ the Ancient One and wouldn't just get bonked by it on the next turn. But for this combo, the hard part is apparently getting the Ancient One to _survive_ that same turn. Power creep ~w~

I just got back into the game and last played in boomsday project lmao. Found this video while I was making a new deck and saw blood of the ancient. I've always rlly liked the idea of the card so this is a rlly cool deck. I'm gonna definitely gonna spend some of this old dust making the funny ogre rogue deck tomorrow :))

Death Knight always gets me the most excited to build decks on day one and this expansion has given me so many options! All the cards can fit into a rainbow DK deck so that’s the one I’m most likely making but double blood handbuff with Maw and Paw, Triple Frost with the excavate package, or maybe a double unholy deathrattle deck with Reska can be quite fun too!

Day one? I’m always down to play Highlander, and the new DH highlander legendary seems nuts. With tools like that mulligan common neutral, plus Sir Finly and DH’s naturally good draw, I don’t think the singleton restriction will be as much of an issue! Till you run face first into plague DK that is. Is Steamcleaner still in standard lol?

If you run vargoth and got enough discounts you could rng it in one turn 50/50 instead of an extra turn requirement. But it is a fck ton of mana.

Control Warlock looks very fun to play. The sludge package is nice, and obviously the treasures sound like the most fun package to play. It may be even worth to run Reno in the deck as well! Excited to theorycraft decks!

Like in the previous expansion I buy some packs with my saved gold and see what legendarys I get and build my day 1 decks around them. But I will also build an DK Ox-Combo-deck with Cattle Rustler, 2x Harrowing Ox as the only Beast and Astalor. This is only a combo to play some big minions in one turn so for the combo I need to excavate twice in the game and try to pull one Ox from Rustler and have the other Ox and Big Astalor in Hand than play all 4 on turn 10. This also works without the rustler but I think its funnier that way :D

Dunno what day 1 deck will be, depends on cards i get. Also, you had lethal first game at 6:50. The Pyro could have been used to deal 1 extra damage to the Soulbound, and thus to face.

Control warlock is already a playable deck, and with the azerite scorpion it's gonna be pretty toxic to deal with I feel. Don't think anyone's done this yet, but Scorpion and all the brewmasters are even cost cards that are 4 mana or less, with thaddius that's an otk already pre-made!

Day one deck will always be playing Deathstalker Rexxar and trying to outvalue with secrets and a bunch of crazy zombeasts. My personal favorite zombeast is something like Bearshark + big taunt/lifesteal as it proves very stick and provides much needed healing against early aggro ex. shadow priest, even shamen, pirate rouge, n such!

Could you try using a provoke spell with "Behold!" so that the Ancient One will summon, then it will attack the Ashtounge?

Is there an easy way to summon the ancient one in warrior? The blood is 9 mana, a faceless is 5 more, behold legendary is 4 more, the rotating guy is 7. I don't see how you go from 25 mana to 10 with warrior.

​@@zoopi451The bigger problem is that the final Provoke targets randomly, and you'll have 4 minions in your field (Ancient One, Silas, Archmage Vargoth, and one enemy minion). For the damage reduction, replace Faceless with Battleworn Faceless (2 cost), and an inner fire, or assume the Blood will be damaged by the initial Provoke. Emperor T + Enchanter can reduce the cost of all cards in hand by 2, and if you're lucky, you'll get another turn of it. Maybe you can combo with another Battleworn Faceless to make 2 Emperors and get a 4 cost reduction. Other possible sources of reduction include: From the Depths, Vanndar Stormpike (you would want to use normal Faceless, and need to draw Soulbound Ashtounge first), or To the Front (which has to be played on the combo turn, making it not that useful). You could also get Bring it On! into your opponent's hand by using Cho, and then probably would need an Unseen Saboteur to force them to cast it.

The first deck I play will probably be highlander shaman. I definitely love the idea of a reverse Rattlegore effect as a weapon, and shaman is one of my favorite classes.
