You might want to double check your formula. Example 1971 by what you said to do would be 7+1=8. Then what? Add 8 to zero? Since i can’t “sum that number together”?? ok so I have an 8 then for female I add 5 so now I’m at 13???

I am a Chinese, I grew up with these philosophy. FengShui is a whole big system. beside everyone has his or her own Trigram, the house or apartment we live in has its own trigram, and every year, there is different energy contribute to our living environment, it is called "flying stars", it is always flow and change, thats why its called "book of change". nothing stay the same forever. one direction is good for a person, does not mean it is good for the same person next year. FengShui involve a lot of accurate calculation, my master always says, if your calculation is wrong, all works you have done would be totally wasted. and I do have some questions about the way you calculate. maybe we learned in different way. But still, unless someone really really know about this ancient art, one shouldn't use tiny bit of the information cause confusing and misunderstanding. I dont think it is a good idea to talk about it from the tiny perspective in the video. I learned a little bit, but I dont practice it, because too many factors in this art. I prefer not get myself or others in trouble because I think I know, but actually I do not. and I stopped learning it because the "math stuff" is quite complicated, and too bad, it is the major part of the FengShui. So the "fun part" you are talking about is not that fun neither. practicing fengshui is a big responsibility for others, it comes with big kamar, either good or bad. so please be aware, if you would like to learn this art, get ready for a long and boring and committed learning process. but of course, once you master it, it is fun for sure! but thank you for the effort!

The I Ching is the Book of Changes. It's based on the magic square for Saturn, and the 64 hexagrams are based on the magic square for Mercury. Terence McKenna found correlations between the King Wen sequence and the Lunar calendar, and the Moon is the 9 x 9 magic square. Both places I live at are full of clutter and so is my life, I 'ignore' this as I read of Taoist masters who lounged about in the mud all day. True Feng Shui is all about Earth energies - the modern world cancels these out with something as simple as the laptop I'm using just now, cables, wires, pipes, satellites, phones, electrical and metal anything; the list goes on. How the clothes you wear were made and what from...some of these can be balanced but it takes a lot. You're best off surrounded by nature, and even then you need the correct spot! The ancients knew of this so built according to the heavens and lived according to their movements also. Remember the way mirrors are made and what of, and where crystals etc come from - mining. You'd be hard pushed to find a gold vein to visit for healing these days. There is Earth Acupuncture though.

No matter the building I've lived in , the Feung Shui , has been put right , even though the property maybe wrong . Doing it right , can be benificial to the wider community - tower blocks for instance , my window has been the only one that's not had fabric curtains , just a green wall , which had flowers all year , and placement of certain crystals among the plants . Faces changed on coming up the driveway , from glum to happier - I got to see some of the reactions of residents , returning . 🤔🙂🙂🙂🙏❤️

I have a question. Will Apache Tear Obsidian help balance the energy of the more negative directions? As far as, Feng Shui, this video is my first introduction. I tested the number I calculated with the meditation circle I sit in (made mostly of large cloudy quartz and agate). The energy, both negative and positive, I have always felt in my circle, correlate with the directions of the number 8. Until I do more research, will the obsidian help? Thank you for your time.

Obsidian is good for transmuting negative energy but black tourmaline and smokey quartz crystals are great too! It really just depends on what resonates with you.

From what I've heard from my personal teacher, Ryan Cropper, black crystals in general tend to bring out negativity in you if you carry/wear them around. I'm not sure if they would do exactly the same in the context of other crystals, whether in a grid or carried around, but if you're carrying a black crystal around you might find yourself being more of an asshole than you usually are. :P

@@kristineurbnlgnd Not really, just saying something I've heard from someone who really knows what they're talking about. I've noticed it myself since before anyone told me as much, and I've found it also applies to wearing black clothing. It's a great way to bring out repressed negativity and/or trauma from your shadow to process, work through, and integrate. I find wearing black clothes in social situations (in my tight knit circle of friends-family) it's a great way to see what bad habits might end up causing problems in the future if not processed, then it's only a matter of working through what comes up. Color absolutely has an impact and can prove beyond valuable as a tool. What I'm saying here doesn't contradict what you said, and I never intended to come across as though I'm trying to push that belief.

The whole number thing for mine doesn't make any sense. I was born in 1990, so my number would be 9. Since I have to add 5 to it, the number I end up with at the end is 14. But the numbers in the chart only go up to 9. I am confused.

Or others. and i dont think that frogs use math for example. the last thing could make you think about "importance" of math. Before humanity there was not math, atleast not what we call math now. Even in our known history the math changed many times and it was completely different in ancient times than now for example. And now it only degenerates, for example the concept of "complex numbers" that is used now just proves that math is just wrong even in its own rules. Another example would be Pi. π

Would one have to go by what they were biologically assigned at birth? The video did mention that new age "interpretations" aren't effective/efficient (in some cases even dangerous) due to lack of orientation in ancient Chinese classical philosophy...and we all know during those times, transgenderism was a big taboo.
