Lol I used to feel that way every time I would learn about Feng Shui. But it’s important to not go down the rabbit hole, just integrate what you can in your home and stick to the basics. I don’t follow to the tee, I just make sure the home is clean, plants are thriving, follow the basics around mirrors and headboards. Don’t get crazy with it.

Idk if i believe in the whole spiritual “good fortune” aspect of feng shui BUT i do believe that feng shui seems to admire the “momentum” of the potential attention to the focal points of objects within a space. Instead of seeing it as “chi energy” you could view it as “potential traffic for item use” in a home. And instead of feeling “good fortune”, you get “a satisfying feeling of comfort when you’ve maximized your space”. Even if you dont believe in the metaphysical aspects of it, there’s a lot of pragmatics behind the method making this a WONDERFUL technique for interior design. Absolutely love feng shui!

Thank you for being a fellow “toilet seat & lid DOWN” person 🙏! I was brought up to always always always close the toilet lid, (After Use & Before flushing), from little on I embraced this very important hygiene & Feng Shui concept. The lid is there for a reason guys !! And it is super unhygienic to leave it up ( watch KZbin videos on toilet hygiene if you don’t believe me). Who really wants “poopsicles” spraying up in a micro mist that goes up to 2 m high and settling on ALL your bathroom objects ( fancy farticles having a party on your tooth brush, 🤢 ???) tell your man ( or male flat mates) to take a seat and stay seated throughout the whole of the performance so to speak, because: sprinkles are for cup cakes 🧁. Thank goodness my partner and I are on the same page there. Here is to breaking bad habits and establishing new good ones. Lecture over, 😂 thank me later 😉

I really love the series and find it very thought provoking.its funny how many principals I grew up with though my mom never heard of Feng shui back then - keeping the toilet closed, never store things under the bed, don't put your purse on the floor... I learned to determine the corners by using the entry door to the house or the room rather than the direction.

Just watched my first video with you today. And I love your content. I’ve been following a lot of your ideas already, just because they “felt” right. The bed facing the door. Always! And that was because I had siblings always trying to scare me. Lol I’ve always positioned my furniture and/or myself in a way that I could always see the door, no matter what room I was in. I had a job where my boss decided to put my desk up against a wall… so he could always sneak up behind me and see what I was doing??? What!? I would forward this super useful video to my landlord but I know that he is not going to care :) even though he should. I rent, and current rental used to be a Feng Shui nightmare. All Elements were completely out of balance, with most of them grossly suppressed by the Earth element (landlord's favorite). I told him this is going to cause a lot of problems, and he said that this system is a hoax. Well, the problems started with Fire Element (fire and explosion, as well as multiple electrical failures), then Water element (flooding and faucets stopping to work), then Air element (complete failure of a brand new AC system), and finally Wood element (trees rotting and dying, with some of them growing into the foundation of the house). Took me a lot of work to fix this mess. Feng Shui is certainly not a hoax and I would love to see more videos on this topic! Thank you so much for this one! ♥

I would love to see more on Feng Shui! Especially an example of how you use it in a remodel, or redecorating assignment. I do have one question...my sink is facing north, but the oven is directly opposite, also facing north. I've thought of placing a mirror above the oven and below the oven hood. Would that help? The mirror would reflect the window above the sink.

I would LOVE to see more Feng Shui vids particularly on STUDIO APTS that has no nos that you could remedy. For example when I walk into my apt I'm in the kitchen my refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and sink are all on the west wall (the the right of the entry door if waking into apt) and directly opposite the entry door so on the south wall are ceiling to floor windows. Bathroom directly faces bed (will closing the door to bathroom be enough?), bed is half up against a window and half on a wall. Etc etc....I love your videos!!! Would love some for Apts. 🤗

These videos have been so helpful for dozens of indoor cures. I live in a 1951 adobe & stucco house in New Mexico, USA. I know how important it is to keep a neat, clean, attractive entryway. I can’t figure out which way my front door faces though! That affects how I position most of what is inside the house, of course. Several library books on the topic have not been helpful. If the front of my house was essentially a straight wall, the house and 3 windows and the garage door all face east. However, there is a cut out porch area, and the actual front door faces north. It seems like “door” & “house” are used interchangeably in these videos. It’s confusing, because my door does not face the same direction as the front, or “face,” of the house. Any suggestions?

Oven/range on the south wall (fire), sink on the north wall (water), diagonally placed, not directly in line so the elements don’t cancel one another out Akosua
