@El Desaparecido Some of the founding fathers were pretty smart, but I wouldn't doubt your claim of "ever", because Yang is in the top 0.1 percentile and the odds say that he is clearly the smartest Presidential candidate ever. There are only a small handful of people smarter than Yang, period, let alone candidates. Most scientists aren't even in the top 1 percentile, let alone 0.1 percentile. Yang is also extremely genuine. He is a very rare person and I hope Americans don't miss this once in a life time opportunity to have a real great leader for a change. Only great leaders can bring great positive change.

Been a black Yang supporter for a few months. My family fully supports Andrew Yang and we all plan on voting for him in the primaries. So far he seems to be the only one proposing something that will literally impact our lives in a positive way. Sure medicare for all is great! But to also have 1000 a month for life. Think about how that would affect my life. My family's life. My future kids life! NOONE else has proposed anything like this. I don't know about you guys but this man has our vote and I hope others follow suit.

Preach! Also, Yang supports Medicare for all public option, meaning everyone still gets free healthcare. The only difference between his plan & Bernie's is that you don't get the pound of flesh from private insurance companies by making them illegal, which is what you get under Bernie. For me personally, free healthcare + $1000 a month beats free healthcare + making private insurance illegal.

@@icecreambrainz8726, you are right. yang's plan is realistic and practical to be sure. his plan is probably modelled after some european medicare system. there private and public insurances compete with each other, and i can say with some confidence, with vast people choosing government run medicare. the cost is cheaper; payment method is based on how much you make; it is progressive. if you have no income, medicare is provided by the government. no one is left uncovered...this is medicare for all

This is the best candidate in the history of America... Why is there still debates
@AFLolowang
@AFLolowang 4 жыл бұрын
Because some people (higher percentage of gun owners are upper-class) wants their guns and don't care for freedom dividend and not knowing that AY is not taking their guns, but putting tighter regulations like owning a car, which probably kills more people than guns do. Or there are people (upper-class business owners) who are investing more on automation and don't care for laying-off employees. There are also other people (upper-class educators), who loves taking advantage of those who wants degrees, like students, and make millions out of them through high tuition or sport. So yeah, that's why there are still debates. It's all about what do I get if I vote for this guy? So for the upper-class millionaires or billionaires, this guy is a threat. For them, they would rather pay the media millions of $$ to turn against AY, and let's pay a candidate to be on top on the polls, or let's get another millionaire to run for a president for their sake. The more millionaires running, the more chances the millionaires would win. Just look at Forbe's article on 2020 Candidate's Net Worth (www.forbes.com/sites/danalexander/2019/08/14/heres-the-net-worth-of-every-2020-presidential-candidate/#5e94c11a37c5).

@@disizsumbull It's the cops who will be required to have a body cam. Cops, like most people, _tend_ to behave better when they know they're being recorded. Also when there's an incident, no longer will it simply be the cop's word over a civilian's. If every cop is expected to have a working cam while on duty, it would be immediately suspicious if a cop can't produce body camera footage for an incident. No, it doesn't completely solve the problem but it does make it a bit less worse. And it's one of the few plans that stands a chance of being implemented and having some meaningful effect.

Yep. MSM is motivated by ratings and ad revenue. MSM wants those 30 second soundbites so they can do post debate analysis shows (with commercials of course) and license the content to other media outlets. They want to stir up frivolous controversy to get eyeballs in front of the TV. They want juicy clickbait titles for all those clicks. Makes me question if MSNBC really hate Trump as much as they say they do since he's basically generating all their content.

Dear America, with love from Singapore, please don't mess this up. Andrew Yang's bipartisan policies are what can truly put the "united" back in the United States of America, not those polarizing far-left 'frontrunners'. I used to support Bernie leading up to 2016 but now I've found someone who simply has the better, holistic and forward-thinking policies. The rest of the world really needs America to THINK HARDER! America's success would have great knock-on benefits for the international arena. Even if I can't contribute donations I will continue to do my part to spread Yang's message to my American colleagues here in Singapore and on social media. #yanggang #yang2020

I've watched a ton of Andrew Yang interviews and really enjoyed them. I haven't seen an interviewer as awesome, knowledgeable, or passionate as Karen Hunter. That was awesome. She is respectful but doesn't take any bullshit. Subscribed.

Karen, and team; Great questions and totally appreciate your thoughtful challenging Andrew. So far I like Yang more than any candidate, he does not pander us as victims and blame others. He sees the root cause of our high level issues and has solutions to address them. The problem is majority are scared by big change until they get the reality these plans will work for us. Be well and informed.

Karen thanks for bringing up Black Men, I feel we are ignored and made the villain....and also, not allowing Andrew to make the black agenda the typical Hbcu and Criminal Justice argument.

I actually think Andrew will be happy about that too. He thrives on intelligent conversation from what I've seen. Well done by Karen!

I just want to add another comment here too. Thank you Karen. You asked amazing questions and you didn't come from a place of hostility and you even educated Andrew Yang on what words really resonate with the black community. You were hard-hitting but I could tell it came from a good place. These are words and a conversation I'm sure he will never forget. Best interview I have watched thus far. Keep doing your thing. One thing though. It was a little confusing when you asked the question about the son and the police. You told him to answer it as if he was a father but then you kind of switched it after he had answered. Your advice seemed like you wanted him to answer it like a president would and so I was really confused by that. Still one of the best interviews I've watched thus far. Youve earned a subscriber.

I believed she meant he was both the father and the President. His answer would be in the affirmative that he won the general election and would fix it. It was actually very brilliant.

@@GrownFolkConvrsation Grown Folks See what you are saying. But she didn't mention being president at all. 'If I was your son what would you advise me to do'. So I can see why Andrew would have answered in the manner that he did. I would have answered it like that too. If she had said 'as a father and as president' then I probably wouldn't have gotten so confused. Question could have been a bit clearer.

@@obsidiareacts1326 I felt that his answer was perfect. I found no fault in it. The reason she corrected him is because he is running for president and the question was asked by a black man with the intention of knowing if the person answering had empathy for the black plight. During the entire interview he was still a candidate for the presidency. You should not be confused about that.

But I was confused by it. Sorry but that is just the truth for me. Her response threw me off. I'm not attacking Karen or anything. If that is the case then I'm glad that she is educating him then. I appreciate you clarifying things for me though. Thank you.

These are some of the smartest best hosts of a show I have ever listened to. I’m just going to start listening all the time. I love how I see how Andrew Yang adjusts to the hosts. He sees that these hosts are smart so he steps up his game. He is the best candidate out there and I support him. Yang for president. Yang2020.com

One of the best interviews I’ve watched because the team is engaging, did their homework, asked a series of quality questions, held firm for answers, and did so exceptionally well. Thank you for having him on and making sure he’s battle tested 🙏
