Amazing cutting board. Did you know how to use a cnc machine before you started making cutting boards? Just wondering how difficult they are to learn to use for people with zero experience with them? Why don't you use a larger (2in+) surfacing bit for the initial leveling and surfacing? Seems like it could save a lot of time since it could do in one pass what your existing bit does in three or four passes.

Damn, your blocks are getting bigger, thicker & heavier!! Is that now your biggest project by weight/volume? Looks brilliant though. Your dust shoe brush is almost as old & straggling as I am , Shapeoko do a nice transparent, polycarbonate one with magnetic fixing !!

Probably because they spin too slow.

@@stephanforseilles I don't believe there is anything that says you can't run a 1" surfacing bit at 20K. I sometimes do, no problem. Makes quick work leveling my cutting boards.
