The Angels were brilliant. The lyrics and Doc were so distinctive. Long before true crime docos became fashionable.

1978 -1979 It was like a unofficial arm wrestle,revolving door of who was the biggest live act in the pubs of Sydney and Melbourne The Angels,midnight Oil,and Cold Chisel All incredible bands live in their early days The Angels however,were truly at one point in those years … The Kings of the Pubs There were even gigs where either midnight oil and Cold Chisel played as support to the Angels or atleast came on before them. And As for a frontman No one had the Energy and presence as Doc Neeson in my books and I’d seen All those 3 bands in those early years He was amazing climbing PAs then jumping onto the stage with his manic moves All night He was one of a kind Great times Happy days

Yeah I remember them but I never liked them. No offense to those who do but I was more into progressive rock and being a guitarist myself I didn't like four chord songs!
@AVportau11 ай бұрын
ahhh, a guitarist eh?... so you've wrote a hit with more than 4 chords?
