You're an inspiration to me, John. What I've learned from being an instrumentalist is that progression can be seen as being better than precision. I like getting notes as precise as possible but when you just start an instrument, you have a higher chance at getting notes not as precise as you may hope. The more time I spend around my guitar, the more precise I get with my notes. Spend some time around the first four frets and they'll become easier in time. THAT GOES FOR ALL OF US (who may be guitarists).

The trick is to do everything really slow and get it right. Practice it at less than half speed. Sleep on it. Do it again. Leave it a couple of days Then pick it up and you can do it. Muscle memory works that way.
