Agreed. Also with Flex being able to copy quirks, his will against powerful corrupt heroes and villains, and his moral compass flipped: I wonder how powerful he will be in season 2. I can defiantly imagine a year older Flex with the forms and quirks of so many powerful villains and heroes. (When I say his moral compass flipped, I mean at the beginning Flex wouldn't hurt a fly. Now he's murdered Wonder wall, caused the deaths of 40 people on that bridge and bank, and tricked Jack into killing loads of people with his voice.)
