@@ScimitarRaccoon thats the problem, if someone swipes their crosshair over my buzzard they think they are good, but as you can tell in the footage they would not stand a chance if its on par. is there people out here who could beat me in annihilator dogfights? yes, and you certainly wont find them in jets, i remember pilot back in thos days saying they avoid TBOGT because alls you do is hold a button and get a kill with the buzzard so they the jet would be the same to them. only difference is the buzzard could be countered with the annihilator in TBOGT. in gta v if its a pilot in a jet that knows what they are doing they are just going to nose dive your helicopter everytime, so in short put rockstar killed piloting. people say they always have luck with helicopters but i dont know maybe its because i have a 2.87 KD people are matched with it in the lobbies but i know if I fight a jet they wont circle around me, they usually nose dive its a major difference between my lobbies and the people who claim they can take out jets with a heli. yeah try taking out a jet when its above you and not at the same altitude its a way different story since helicopters cant look up for more than 2 seconds.

you would not believe how good it was back then, i use to gun people down every day with the annihilator. they would be on the ground and id use the side gun view to kill them in 4 seconds. now in gta online it has this crosshair that gets in the way of the bullet path so you cant see where the bullets touch. let alone everything is lock on explosive now so the annihilator dont standa a chance.

yeah its nothing but homing rocket bait, and im not talking about the homing launcher either, im talking about the crappy lock on weapon vehicles. if they would have kept the game guns only like gta 4 then who knows maybe it would be alright. but i do know one thing its not the original devs that played gta 4 that made this game, in gta 4 the annihilator goes faster than the buzzard, in gta v its the opposite, not only that but now all of a sudden the buzzard gets to have better agility too while the annihilator turns like a brick with wings. if i remember correctly it was easy to turn around in gta 4 because you needed to if you wanted to get a health pack or turn around to shoot back after getting cheap shot, i guess it makes no difference since theres no health pack in gta v for vehicles and even if you were getting shot at the vehicles in the game explode randomly like michael bay so you would die as soon as bullets hit the helicopter basically. im just waiting for 6 to go back to piloting but who knows maybe helicopter piloting was a thing of the past. oh well, no one will ever witness what i did in my time, airobatiics, shockxwave, iselldrugsyo, VItalian, so many skilled players that would completely destroy any gta v player and yet i got to witness them in my time and witness them fade. i dont think we will ever see that greatness again but oh well what can we do.

Elite GamingWolf true true, I am a pilot myself. Ironically enough I used to have a rouge with explosive machine guns but the rate of fire was slow but it was good to take down hydras. People nowadays just spam rockets from deluxos,hunters or akulas. I personally use my avengers cannon but it's hard work, if not I'll just cluster bomb them. Now I find that regular machine guns are kinda better, I always enjoy loading my enemies with bullets.also land one good shot on the guy's head and you win.

Yveltal Doiivaking personally for me i want to get into normal dogfighting now, helicopter dogfighting is not fun anymore. not only have i lost my grip and aiming but with everyone getting practice and i dont it makes me lose spunk when i join a match. i like the nokota since it has good handling, the dogfight mode afew months go called air something. i remember i was in that mode and when i had the molotov jet i was strugging so bad to hit people with the machine guns, not only the 6 or more jets were constantly locking on to me and firing rockets but the molotov has hard turning. i could almost not turn to dodge a missile in that thing then when it switched to nokota it felt good and smooth turning. im more likely to hit them out the sky with that. for fighter jets its ok but i feel its too easy with explosive rounds and not much of a comeback can me made. at lease with regular aircraft you had 2 seconds to dodge the pilot before the plane bust into flames from the bullets. rockstar did a good job balancing the guns on airplanes and its funny because noobs always say it takes all day to blow a plane up with regular guns. not for me it does not. if i was able to pilot more i would have been able to take up noobs in afew seconds but for now im waiting for that adversary mode to be double money and rp again so randoms will join. its annoying like a bunch of likes buzzing around you when the noobs start spamming lock on rockets but at lease it gets me ready for real situations, then thers that 1 random missile thats undodgable and hits you anyways.

agreed, i remember back then a noob in a buzzard was trying to be good with a god mod buzzard, the cockpit was not protected though so i kept shooting him out his buzzard in a 3 second span with side gun view. now if my annihilator fights a buzzard rather its a noob or not the annihilator guns dont stand a chance. there was a time in gta v where the annihilator guns were better than the buzzards but rockstar buff the buzzards guns to make it on par with annihilator. your a TRUE og gta player if you were around when all that happened

rockstar had to nerf them though, if you played ballad of gay tony you would understand with real life minigun speed it only take 2 spit seconds to kill someone, i could even shoot people out their cars through the back window with the buzzard helicopter. so in the end it created a pilot community because of how difficult they were to use. if they were like pc miniguns everyone could say they are the best pilot. because basically damage is 1000 in the files and speed is around 36 i think. on consoles damage is 100 and the speed is set as 67 to shoot. 36 vs 67, thats the big speed difference between them. it is label as timebetweenshots

yeah buzzards were for noobs thats why when i learned how to use the annihilator with left gun view i went back to TBOGT and shot out 80% of the pilots and either got killed by and cheap shot double team and spawn killed or kicked. in gta 4 its different pilots for the most part dont spawn kill you before you get to a heli. in tbogt they have no pride and just kill you over and over again. once you learn to kill the pilot with the annihilator it becomes pretty easy. too bad i dint learn until near the end of the games life around 2010.

@@Maximus1879- missiles are not really needed though, when i used the buzzard as a training heli to be a pilot i first started learning with the machine guns. i will always remember my first kill. it was some random player at packies house and when i gun him down with the buzzard i had a great feeling its like i discovered something new and so i kept doing it until i became one of the top pilots. i was not the best of the best but i was still better than any average player that hoped into them and started spamming rockets at people on the ground.

i think the physics in gta v suck, you dont feel shotgun hits on enemies like you do in red dead redemption. it feels like a stick you hold that shots 1 shell and its a 1 hit kill. im taling about the pump shotgun. only real feeling one is the sawed off (stubby shotgun) and the street sweeper. dont get me started about how getting hit with a helicopter blade or getting rpg has not throw physics like gta 4. i remember one of the revolutionary things of gta 4 was hitting someone with the helicopter blades and watching them get thrown far away.

I agree. Also, GTA IV had a way better vehicle damage system. It was more realistic and more fun. So for example, if you shot a helicopter with an rpg it would start burning and then fall and crash but if it wasn't flying very high the pilot could survive that. In gta most helicopters explode right away. Explosive ammo was better in GTA IV as well. In Ballad of Gay Tony there was this assault shotgun with explosive shells which was super fun to use but it wasn't as OP as explosive rounds in GTA V. In GTA IV an explosive shell would damage the car and bend it in a fun way (you could shoot the wheels to block them for example). It wasn't an instant kill though. You still had to shoot a few rounds to blow up a car. Same thing with an APC. It had a turret with explosive ammo but it didnt blow up cars instantly. Damage system in GTA V is so weird. You can bump your car into a 100 poles and it still drives just fine but one or two explosive shells can blow it up as if it was made out of c4. Annihilator in GTA IV was awesome. Miniguns with explosive ammo were strong but they weren't as OP as explosive guns on hydra in GTA V. You still had to hit your target a few times and the vehicle would start burning before it blew up. In GTA V you can instantly destroy most vehicles with a single tap by hydra death ray. I hope that in GTA VI the damage sytem will be more like it was in GTA IV.

Well, currently in GTA Online Hydra and Lazer are actually among the worst planes for dogfighting. They have the almight deathray gun but it's no use when you can't even hit anyone. Pyro or starling are so much more manouverable and agile that's it's almost impossible to lose a dogfight against hydra while flying them.

@@FreeAimDog can you give me advice for aiming with the annihilator (on controller)? I play on the PS3 and I practise everytime I go into free roam but I'm so terrible. I once got into a pilot lobby and they lighted me up in like 8 seconds, somehow they're able to aim at me perfectly and fire 2 rounds and then I instantly catch on fire and am forced to go get a hp pack. When I'm chasing someone who's in a car and I lean foward to aim at their vehicle my helicopter descends to the ground and when I'm using the most reccomended camera angle the helicopter shakes and moves too much and I hit like only 20% of my shots. How do you aim so well?

Yeah, the PC version of the game had so many questionable, unnecessary changes (Annihilator fire rate, No Bulletspread for Keyboard&Mouse and Multiplayer regardless of Controls, Changed Race Countdown Mechanics, Player/Ranked separation). At least the Annihilator firing speed and bullet type can be changed via weapon.xml The reason they were explosive in TLAD is because of the Chopper VS Chopper mode, but when a pilot is really good, it makes it almost impossible to reach the checkpoints (again, could be blamed on the high as fuck fire rate), so I wish they stuck with standard ones (can be changed, but nobody so far wanted to bother changing it lol). I don't really remember how the TLAD Annihilator was on PS3 regarding fire rate, it's been a really long time.

Handsome Jack the b11 does need a buff on peds though, i did a drive bys on the head hunter npc and it felt like forever trying to hit them. so for head hunter i save alot of time being lazy and using the mk2 oppressor. if i dint use that id just use to akula to do it since it can turn around instantly.

im thankful this was not the final version of the minigun because in tbogt people easily killed buzzard and shoot you out before your helicopter takes off. in gta 4 alls they did was smash into the helicopter and chop your tail off to get you out of the helicopter which very rarely there were good pilot that could 1 hit kill you through the cockpit with the annihilator guns. if annihilator guns were rapidfire in og gta 4 then veteran pilots would be getting 1 second kills as soon as their gun shot.

on console it would work, on console the annihilator damage is 100 but on pc its defaulted to 1000. on console i think the rate of fire is also tied to 63 time between shots while pc is 35 or 36. so basically like a video posted along time ago showed if they shoot they insta kill you. i remember seeing a video of it along time ago uploaded by someone where they spawned annihilators at the airport shooting at each other.

You are just using normal rounds? Wdym? Explosive rounds are only in TLAD and TBOGT. The rounds you were firing were normal minigun rounds but in the dlc you have explosive rounds that can blow up every vehicle with one bullet instantly which is clearly not happening in this video. so your not firing explosive rounds. Instead you are just firing normal rounds. And you probably also messed with game so you could infinitely fire with a way faster fire rate.

with the buzzard you could have just used the landing gear view, it will always go where the top of the landing skit is like its an iron sight. people use to say i was cheating when id shoot them out in 3 seconds. i even had this guy say he had an aimbot for the buzzard but he was pretending because i shot him clean out in the first burst and i dint lose much armor so i knew he was lying. he probably thought i was average but i was already use to flying since gta 4 so the buzzard was just a helicopter 20X easier to use, annihilator is harder but with side gun view its sort of easy to nab kills if your average. if your one of the best pilots with the annihilator then you can shoot people on ground in like a heartbeat with the annihilator and in dogfights shoot pilots out the cockpit in lik 8 seconds or less. i used the annihilator in TBOGT before i retired it and i remember alot of buzzard pilots saying i was a cheater because i could shoot them clean out with the side gun view at long range, would just like the yellow line up with the buzzard and pop the buzzard is falling down. i stopped piloting in TBOGT near the end because the pilots on there had no class, once they got you they would basically spawn kill you and blow up the helis with missiles until you grabbed a sniper and shot them out. in gta 4 alot of us dint roll like that.

i think its funny that they dint know that. i use to play tbogt here and there but avoided it because of how easy it made noobs get kills at the time. if people got the buzzard they would just fly over the helipad and spam missiles and blow up the helicopters. and if they got mad at you they would just spam missiles and spawn kill you since the screen would shake too much to shoot them out, it was the oppressor mk2 of its time. at lease in gta 4 it took some skill to get a kill even though it was side gun camera and circling.

Explosives we're much different back in GTA IV. RPG's didn't instantly blow a car up in some cases, it would set it on fire, then it would blow up 5-10 seconds later. Hell, an RPG was survivable in some cases, and you'd ragdoll all over the place. Also the APC wouldn't one shot a car, it took four or five to blow up a car (though it was quick firing, about valkyrie cannon fire rate).

the frame rate is completely random, a friend of mine told me to disable shadows and turn draw distance on 20 along with the other bars. it actually works a bit. more fps, not that it makes a difference since it still dips to 50 fps for no reason
