the one detail that makes the GTA 4 chopper so much better is that since that chopper has no missiles, the explosive rounds make up for it instead of just normal bullets

Those rounds wont fit with the current gta damage system, they would be too overpowered. + if the heli pilot uses missiles but always with lock on, the annihilator can defest easly by dodging the missiles

Fun fact: The Annihilator are both based off a Lockheed Martin Sirosky UH-60 “Blackhawk” chopper, the Blackhawks are used by Militaries, Police, etc as a drop off/electronic combat chopper.

No question! When it passed the "pole test" and lost the complete tail and was still spinning and in flight... that heli is straight up gangsta! I set up my old Xbox360 last week so I could mess around in GTA VI some more. The old ones are still fun; GTA III, Vice City, San Andreas, they all have something special about them

Why dont they buff this chopper they could add countermeasures,maybe bit of armour,some other customizations and explosive cannons. As a GTA 4 veteran Annihilator pilot, i can say the annihilator from gta 4 demands way more skills to fly than Gta 5 counterpart, because it shots slower, it only shoots explosive rounds in TLAD and TBOGT, so in normal Gta 4 you must be precise, take into consideration your ammo, reloading times, emergency landing to repairs your helicopter because if you destroy it you will need to race to airport to get one while your opponents try to murder you. You also don't have a sight, you must know where your projectiles will hit. It's hard to become a good pilot in GTA 4, but if you become one you become a formidable opponent. Even professional shooters have a hard time fighting with you. I love GTA 4 because the game rewards your efforts. Unline GTA 5 where helicopters have gadgets to help you kill, like homing missiles. GTA 4 all day
