Because the definition of marriage can't change, evolving jurisprudence can't be used to used to define what is consented to. If Fr. Gerald Murray follows jurisprudence to judge capacity/due discretion for consent, he is a marriage redefiner himself, and is part of the problem.

As someone who is a convert to Catholicism, many of us are bringing baggage from a lot of poor decisions in our previous life (addiction, divorce, children outside of wedlock, remarried outside the Church, ...). Sometimes it seems like such an uphill battle to make things right and be in proper communion with Christ and the Church. I pray to the Blessed Mother, Our Lady Undoer of Knots, to help me untie these knots and be confirmed.

Thank you Fr, great interview. I'm a cradle Catholic who was raised with an orthodox priest but non-practicing parents. My older sister took us to folk mass which seemed really cool at the time but in retrospect was garbage, terrible garbage. I returned to faith in 1999 to an orthodox priest, and I'm sooooo happy to be home. Problem now is attending TLM before bergolio makes it go away. My parish is a magic circle not cruciform so it's not optimal but it is reverent and well attended. Maybe the next holy father will be Catholic. We can hope.

Actually, they are quite cunning. They are all Modernists as was both JPII and Benedict XVI and up to HALF of the prelates are sodomites. The late Fr. Malachi Martin warned about his in the 90's.
