Someone actually remade Battle Stage 3 with the dialogue, which makes it way better. You'll have to look up Initial D Battle Stage 3 Revised. If you need help finding it, let me know 👍.

Another thing is that Battle Stage 3 is completely blocked on youtube, meaning no one can make AMVs or really anything at all with any battle in 5th stage.

Well that's because Fifth & Final Stage is still heavily copyrighted by Avex, First & Fourth now isn't much block and even copyrighted (if you didn't include the soundtrack)

@ fifth stage itself is fine on KZbin, just battle stage is copyrighted. I’ve tried uploading fifth/final stage about 9 times now, but it’s like playing whack a mole with copyright. Every time I fix the old issues I get 10 new ones. But there are entire episodes of fifth stage that are fine, notably 1, 2, 3 and 12.

In summary, the Battle Stage 3 was just an official AMV sold at 5000 Yens. Good video by the way, just a few corrections: 1- In the first Battle Stage, only the First Stage was reanimated, the Second stage they just reused the existent footage. 2- Battle Stage 2 also has two exclusive races, Keisuke vs Atsuro Kawai and Keisuke vs Sakai, both were cut from the original run of the Fourth Stage. 3- Battle Stage 3 (as well of the Battle Digest for the Legends series) also features previously unreleased songs, in other words, songs produced years ago but released for their use in those OVAs, for example: Ray Light - The Spiders From Mars, Music In You - DJ Force, Surrender My Soul - Lolita, People For People - Matt Land, all of them made around 2003-2006 but released in 2021-2022. 4- Keisuke's and Seiji's dialogues from their exclusive battle were only taken from Second Stage act 4. 5- The most probably reason why Avex didn't used the voice lines, is probably because they only need a reason to sell a new Eurobeat album. But the theory of they having to pay again for the VAs makes sense too. 6- The Battle Digest of Legends is exactly the same as the Battle Stage 3, but with dialogues. Damn, they even reused the same intro for the races. 7- The Battle Digest of MF Ghost is just a cut version of the original run, there's no new soundtrack and no new scenes, that was probably a mistranslation. 8- Afaik, no, there's no a "Music clip version" of Battle Stage 2, that was only a bonus included in the DVD of the first Battle Stage. In conclusion, if you want to see how the Battle Stage 3 could be good, go watch better the Battle Stage 3 Revised by n4mro, or the Battle Stage 3 REMAKE made by me, lol

I feel thet BS3 is different from the others but considering the franchise had been un touched for years kinda made up for its awkward style. I believe that Battle Stage 3 and Battle Digest were released to cause a stir in the community for the up then comming announcement of the MF-Ghost adaptation. I'm always interested in the eurobeat that the franchise decides to use, so i personally enjoy the majority of the tracks used in BS3. My favorite races in BS3 consist of AE86 vs NB8C - AE86 vs ZZW30 -FD3S vs JZA80 and AE86 vs AE86, dispite these races having missing dialogues I found it entertaining to watch my favorite races again with new music. This just my opinion but I can understand other peoples critiques. Nice video, keep up the good work!

Battle Stage 3 actual release is kinda underwhelming, although Avex released it, but no dialogue include, thankfully Darksupercool released it better as remake and I even released my own version of Battle Stage 3 with my native language dubbing since I want to cap of the trilogy Battle Stage, plus still kinda piss Fifth & Final Stage is heavily blocked in YT That's why when I upload my own remake & my dub I had to use copyright filter

I don't know that all people agree with me or not, But we need an Initial D remake with the legend movie's animation and art style BUT without changing VA's unless they Have to and using th same eurobeats and not changing the scense just remake the in higher quality

Never liked battlestage aside from it giving alot of good eurobeat some popularity and the extra content, they really should have used it as an excuse to put full focus and reanimate the races in 2D cel animation instead, since the movements of the cars in the 3D cgi move kinda...slow and sluggish, like they dont have weight or speed, which is ironic because actual stage 1 animation did it better, it only improved it graphic wise and thats it Something battle stage 3 could've actually adapted though is the extra takumi/bunta side story manga where takumi is only a kid and his dad shows him his drifting skills after takumi felt neglected due to financial issues, it wouldve been a really nice extra thing to include as an episode. Surprisingly hardly anybody knows about that side story manga

What I will never really understand: why the hell did they make a battle digest of the legend trilogy? The legend movies are already a sort of summary of the 1st stage, so what's the point of making a summary of the summary??

In 2019 I uploaded my version of BS3 and Battle digest on KZbin, long before there was an official source about the release of these 2 OVAs. But in that case it was ok, I mean... they were just a fan-made. But I have never been able to understand the reason of an official release if not Avex's desire to make money
