For anyone confused, the instant death out of Booyah from Stamper is a “quirk” with booyah armour where after it destroys there's a brief few moments where the armour damage multipliers still apply, allowing the stamper to OHKO with the projectile. This is apparently possible with Wiper too, but probably more consistent with Stamper due to the size

@@matt-ti8yw Probably definitely an oversight, so abuse it before it gets patched eventually. It's probably possible with other weapons that get damage modifiers against the armour, but most of those are already either one shots or weapons that splat in multiple hits, so Stamper and Wiper are the Booyah counters I guess?

As a charger main, YES it's definitely satisfying to get that perfect shot to take out the crab. Sometimes I get too cocky and stand at the line of sight of the crab and then get destroyed haha

The splatana stamper is very powerful but I think it requires a good amount of skill to use because of having to aim it correctly. Which is why I have trouble using it

I’m a newly Stamper main. It’s a steep learning curve because it’s so many things to think about. It has 3 different attacks and a burst. Meaning it has several different combos and it only takes experience to know when to use an attack/combo against an enemy. It also has zip which is a brand new special and that takes commitment to learn. I had to do recon to learn the best spots on a map to use it. With that being said it’s definitely worth the effort learning Stamper, it’s an absolute slayer once you get the hang of it. It’s also good in support because it’s great at chip damage with burst, and it’s range with the vertical/horizontal strikes.

I have played the wiper for a while and was ok with it but the stamper is just something I cant play, the slow projectile speed with the slow charge speed makes the weapon so hard to learn for me

Stamper is by far my favorite weapon, but I wish it’s forward slash where you step forward a bit had a more generous hitbox. It felt pretty underwhelming when Sheldon mentioned it, and I thought it was going to be a really useful mechanic. Only for me to realize that I’ll basically never be using it. It should have a way more generous hitbox when you move forward with it tbh. You always just do a shoulder bump with them.

dang, nice use of the Stamper there XD honestly more people should really try the splatana weapons because its actually more fun and useful than what people initially thought. the splatana's primary and secondary attack has way bigger hitbox than your usual shooter weapon, so any shot that normally would miss a splatana would still hit. and yeah, fighting against crabs and booyah bombers with a splatana is the best Although I'm kinda envious you're better at using them than I do though '-')...

God I love Stamper It's such a "Play of the Game" weapon You can turn a whole match around and decide games in a couple seconds if you play your cards right and it's always so satisfying Tho I don't know if they'll give it a better kit cause BB + Zip was a perfect set

This is so true, it’s definitely a high leverage weapon. Especially when zip is used at the right time, it flips the whole match in an instant. I can’t think of a better sub for it as well. Any other bomb would consume too much ink and a utility sub isn’t ideal but Stamper is not the best painting weapon.

Splatoon 2 maps just were the best overall for ranked and turf war and they actually had variety, even if I personally disliked some maps and/or their ranked variations. Splatoon 1 had weird but charming maps as well but I didn't play it. 3's reworked and new maps are bland. Thin, open, small and samey without much gimmicks. The best maps in the game are unchanged from splatoon 2 and even then it's the less gimmicky ones.

Yeah, even if the maps were a little frustrating or gimmicky they're still better than Tetris Blocks and Hammerhead Hallway. Scorch is like the singular map you can mess around with walls and it's incredibly situational for the ways I want to use them. Literally no maps except Brinewater have routes around mid
