Absolutely loved both parts. I'm a big fan of Ant but it was really interesting to hear him speak about overcoming some bad times and his wider car experiences which I had never known about (Top Gear). He is so down to earth. A really class comment about Edd at the end.

Ant is the man. I have a family member who’s a mechanic and my late uncle was a mechanic but Ant is head and shoulders above any mechanic that I’ve ever seen. Loved watching wheeler dealers in America

I would like to meet Ant again, he was very dismissive of me talking about my electric TVR project when I met him at the NEC Classic car show 2021, which surprised me with his interest in EV projects. I watched Part 1 & 2 and the time just flew by, could have watched another 2 hours at least of this, just truly great, and very interesting. Police Man, Car Restorer, Footballer, how the hell did Ant fit all this in - in a day? Only one disappointment though, Jonny never got to ask Ant about the plane he is building. ☹️

For the love of cars is still one of my favourite car shows. He was the right guy to take over from Edd, huge knowledge, skills and great on TV. And just to add, I think Elvis carries the tradition of great TV mechanics on WD very well

At first I struggled to watch Ant with all his facial expressions when repairing a car but the more I watched the more I saw the mechanic in him, he also had that great repour with Mike Brewer which at times was quite funny, we dont get to see the funny side of Mike but he really can turn it on when he wants too. While Edd was a top top mechanic I was more drawn to Ant especially when he built his own car, for me the guy is the best mechanic I have watched on TV bar none

Like Ant, but why EV swap a classic? You lose the light weight, the range, the manual, the cool sounding engine, and the environmental benefit is minimal. And try doing a classic rally while spending hours on a charger (if you can find one).

Ants work ethic is brilliant, hes gone through some really troubling times and come out the other side stronger. In video 1 his daughter said you only regret the opportunities you didnt take (or something along those lines) and thats so true! Everyone should listen to that and grab every opportunity that comes their way, even if it doesn't work out the first time

I would love Ant & Edd to do a car show. If they could do a show restoring old cars together, then I'm hooked! Jonny, a great 2 part video with Ant. Ant is one of those guys that sees a piece of rust & turns it into a car always seeing the positives. Even if Jonny did a car show with Ant buying, restoring & rejuvenating an unloved shitbox brand of a car & making it better than what the car was originally, I'd put my hand up with no hesitation & watch it.
