Being a writer, always find solace in the works of Rabindranath Thakur, the way he has put every possible human emotions into ornamental literature, we can always turn to them no matter what! Be it the first downpour of northwestern or the eternal pangs of separation, or the vehement expression of patriotism or spiritual surrendering, there's not a single emotion, no matter how complex, that can't be expressed with something in Tagore's treasury!! Loose myself amidst the finely woven fabric of his short stories or bask in the most purest form of love skillfully penned down by the one and only kobiguru.. We Bengalis don't really need a special day to celebrate Tagore, as he is deeply intertwined with our daily lives ..

I just saw this. What a treasure! I was touched by the wonder and admiration on your face, Shri Anupamji, as you listened to to Pujya shri Gulzar, speak. I left India, a long time ago. But my heart never left home. You have lit a spark, in giving a new life to my nostalgia, so much of which, is in the films, the songs, as they touched my life, and my beloved family.
