Just got to see this. Thanks for putting it out; very entertaining and it got me to get back in the Ah-64 and learn the CPG (I’ve got basic/mid level pilot handled). Btw, “The Outpost” is an amazing movie. Probably the most realistic depiction of modern combat. Not the effects (which are -of course - amazing and realistic), but the interaction between the troops inside and outside of combat, how they work and talk with/to eachother and the visceral “feel” of a very desperate fight

@@rl2204 AGM hellfire can target up to 8.047km effectively and the newer Spike NLOs can hit targets up to 32km and has effectively engaged targets at such distance. Although the spike is used by Israel. And the Hydra rocket system has max range of 10.5 km but that’s maximum engagement range not effective range.

Great job! That an awesome video. Is there damage modeling (apologize for the lack of articulation) on the Apache? You took some very close range hits from AKs and I suspect RPKs. After shut down, it would be cool to see the damage. I'm not familiar with the durability of the Apache. I've seen it in person laying down the hate but never spoke with a pilot. Thanks.

There definitely is damage modeling on the Apache. I took small arms fire but it wasn't really enough to leave a mark. I have an Apache video from a while back where I get absolutely shredded but still limp home. It can take a beating and then some! Thanks for commenting!

I agree. I bet the next chopper module from ED will be the Blackhawk. It just makes too much sense, it fills so many roles. Imagine they even model the Seahawk models, and we can do heli-borne anti-submarine missions! Ah too cool! I do think I saw somewhere the Cobra is still in a planned state but on the backburner indefinitely ☹️
