There are three states that have to tell potential buyers if a house is haunted. It's California, South Dakota, and Alaska. You are right though they should tell people.

So let's see if my comment gets deleted in here. Years ago I was shopping for a cheaper apartment in SC. Someone told me about a renovated factory / mill where you had to be 55 or either on disability to rent one. They were like $400 per month including internet. I went to check them out and they were beyond gorgeous. Office manager told me I made just a little too much to qualify but they owned a building down the street. It was a renovated civil war building and $700 per month included absolutely everything ! At the same time, shes shoving papers at me to sign. I told her I was still under a lease and I was just starting to shop. She says : " IF you snooze you lose ! " I told her I just could not believe the price ....is this haunted ??? She looks down at her desk and says : " well some have said they see things but I never have. " I am not a SC native but as I asked around town.... found out I truly dodged a bullet on this one !!!

Having worked apartment maintenance before myself. If the add says " freshly renovated " it most likely means stuff went down in that apartment. Sometimes it does mean tbe apartment needed everything upgraded due to age .

Also depends on how much deferred maintenance was done in the apartment with the previous tenant, which can also be an issue as I've looked at buying apartment buildings for sale and the maintenance teams with long term tenants would just do the bare minimum for doing any upkeep, putting off doing actual repairs (such as caulking a hole in a closet door and having tenants use floor fans with car air fresheners tied on to deal with all the mold on the ceilings of the units).

All the shows about hauntings - the ghosts who haunt are either lost and need help or earthbound by bad deeds committed in their physical lives. The good spirits find the Light and go to the higher realms. That's why these earthbound ghosts haunt the houses, etc. They need to be shown how to find the Light or be sent away. Eventually, they will have the chance to reincarnate and make amends for past karma. This seems a good series so I have subscribed.

I live about 15min from this neighborhood and the haunting lore is very alive! There are ghost tours all throughout the suburbs, its rich in history and trauma. I currently live in an old building about 100yrs old that was once a hotel now apartments. Ive personally never seen or felt anything except in the basement where laundry is done-it looks like an old hospital examining room.

More likely the network wanted more money from the cable provider (which happens regularly in the US as well, especially as the Discovery Network group are notorious for high access fees). Effectively, you buy cable channel bundles since those bundles allow a set numbers of channels to be in those packages for a specific price, but when networks increase their fees to the cable and satellite providers, those providers have a choice. Raise the package price, shuffle the channel over to more expensive packages, or drop the channel altogether.

I lived in Arizona and me and my husband were a young married couple moving into our first apartment together. This apartment was very haunted. I’ve never experienced the haunting like I have at this apartment complex. I went into an early preterm labor with my first son. What I seen haunts me to this day. I know it was real, because we moved out and ended up moving into another building in another apartment. Then there it still continued. I witnessed and experienced the most terrifying hauntings. I was young and didn’t take it seriously. I wish I had. That apartment complex is very haunted. What’s there is not human entity. It’s the land itself that has to be haunted. I told my husband one day I like to go back just to see. Maybe take a medium with me. I moved back to West Virginia in 2009. One day I may go back. If I get the chance.

An apartment is a change in this serie. Mostly its about a piece of land with an older house. Like these houses are more likely to be haunted. Not true. I am a Wiccan since 21 years ago and I live in the middle of Amsterdam Holland.I see ghosts since I was 4 years old and I have seen many spirits in Amsterdam. Inside and outdoors. My Dad was a preacher and we grew up in the church. As a child, I remember my Dad and other Christians praying over any home we moved in to, which were a few. They would annoint the walls, floor, yard and property with blessed oil praying in Jesus name. I remember the prayers being bold and fearless. They weren't passive.
