seen these guys played with my friends on the same stage when i was in my teenage years. all the bands in the L.A. local area were all great back then. They should have been part of the NotRated night roster maaaan. would have been quite the line up. By friends, i mean O.H.M. = Opus Dai back then.

TRACK - Mirrors - 09:06 "bite wants to sink into trouble in the dumb-side of your heart like a fiend reaching for you it's just inches from your war run to live under mirrors taste the sunspots of your words like a pen leads to something you leave behind now here's your chance you've been running around like a porter eyes love to sink in your trouble in the front side of your words like a blink thinking for you cause you're chewing up the world like a dead wind up hero leads to some kind of war in your head like a fishbowl i can see you hide now here's your chance you've been running around like a porter give in this gut of mine you're what comes to mind don't you wander off" Love these lyrics so much, they say a lot! Plus the song is just badass and it always brings me back. This album deserve more views, check it out.... or nah....

***UPDATE*** Hey guys, as I've had multiple people asking for it and KZbin messages aren't really a thing anymore I decided to add a link to the description of this video with a download link for the EP. Let me know if there are any issues with it and I'll try and host it elsewhere if need be. Also whilst I'm here, thanks for all the views on the video! Glad to know that these guys still have a decent following as they do deserve it.

Hey man, I've seen a couple of people in the comments asking for a link over the years but I always end up forgetting to do it. After looking around and realising that this EP is actually rather hard to come by I figured I'd try and upload it somewhere once and for all. Give me some time and I'll update a link in the description, I'll let you all know when it's up and ready. ***Update*** - You should find it in the description now, hopefully it works alright for you :)

That's because the majority has no idea what good music consists of. Iheart radio and the like try to force bullshit down our throat. Most eat it and some of us know it's shit!

These guys are wicked good musicians. I love Sammy J on the drums. Amazing. But after ontronik left the band you can definitely hear something is a miss. The guitarist tried his best to fill in. His voice is amazing for backing up Ontronik, but his style of singing is very different from the former. Doesn't fit as well to me. That said, it's a damn shame that Ontronik left the band. Always thought for sure those guys would've made 3 or 4 albums. Too bad we never got them.

This album was great. And the songs from Vokee too.. I listened to Oceans so much in college. I almost saw Apex Theory in Hollywod, but got thrown out by bouncers right as show was starting, bc they caught me with the smuggled vodka bottle in my hand. But Vokee came and played at the hub in UCSB for the Armenian Student Association Charity Concert, almost 10 years ago. My friend and I were selling T-shirts at the show (coincidentally of the other Antranig, an Armenian national hero). Ontranik was a great performer for sure, put a great set. Very talented guy. I'm not a good judge of eletronica, which is what I saw him last doing on youtube some years back, but a reunion of Apex Theory or Vokee or any combo would definitely spark my interest.
@aramsahagian20676 жыл бұрын
He also wore our T-shirt during his set, and came talked to us afterwards. Very humble guy. You would never know he was a founding member of SOAD if you didn't know his background. I'm sure I got some pics of that concert somewhere.
@thesamenumb54376 жыл бұрын
@@aramsahagian2067 yeah I knew he did that. Damn shame. Messed up his hand right as they were about to perform for a big producer and record deal. I'm sure that had to be heartbreaking once his hand was fine and they didn't let him back in. I saw an interview with him the video quality was pretty crappy but he talked about Apex Theory. And about the second album same to me like the record company was putting a lot of pressure on them to be more Poppy and he wasn't down with that so we left. I've heard some of the other stuff you mentioned as well. I'd love to see him get back together. I've always been a huge Sammy J Watson fan after this album. I just recently got into playing drums and if I could be half of what that guy is I'll be smiling from ear-to-ear LOL
