Love both your hunting and shooting videos. Be safe. You asked about the face paint.. As a deer, turkey, and antelope hunter, I'm a huge believer in face covers or paint. I also recommend camouflaging hands. They flash around even more than the face. Another trick is to use different camo patterns for jacket and pants. It helps break up the human shape. I can't afford matching Sitka gear anyway.

Im not saying you're wrong or that I don't believe you. But personally, I've never felt camo has made any sort of difference. But that's just been my experience. I do try to stay away from the color blue since deer can see that the best.
@kdean81296 сағат бұрын
MAX 4 AND max 5 Advantage camo is really good for whitetail hunting in Saskatchewan. Even better is the Badlands brand camo . If you stand still animals try to look right through you.

Closet we have in the States are wild boar. Looking to get my wife a 243 Winchester from Savage Arms. They now run a 1 in 9.25 inch twist rate. This will be for Coyote hunting here in Michigan, USA. Great tips and video !
@Lure-Benson11 сағат бұрын
You should consider the 250 Savage in the AR 10 which I build in the uppers to sell. Option 2 is the AR 10 in 257 Rpbert's. Both AR 10 uppers I use the Pac Nor SS supper match barrels in 1-10 twist for the bullets 100 grains and heavier
@jasoncarr55111 сағат бұрын
@Lure-Benson Appreciate those suggestions. I built a 6.8 SPC II for her. A 10 twist 4 groove Bison Armory 22 inch MTU profile rifle length gas tube AR15. Handloads are Hornady brass, federal 205M AR primers, Hornady leverevolution powder, Speer 130 gr spbt. Single stage trigger, Magpul PRS Gen 2 stock. Handguard is free floating and attaches by two piece thread nut. Velocity is 2600-2700 fps range and same hole groups at 100 yards. Optic is a Vortex Diamond back tactical 4-16x44 in a one piece Vortex mount.
@Lure-Benson25 минут бұрын
@@jasoncarr551 If you start building your own AR 10 then here is what I found really is needed for the AR 10 . I was seeing allot of smoke and often flames coming out of the breach on firing and blackened smoke-stained cases so for all cartridges now on the 308 size I am using the KAK Industries 17-inch magnum gas tube to slow the timing when the bolt opens. This is really noticeable with the AR 10s I do in 6mm-284 Win and the 6.5-284 Norma. My new AR 10 in 250 Savage the 17-inch gas tube is idea for the cartridge. If you go to building the AR 10 in any of the WSM magnums or 6.8 Western or 6.5 PRC I found using the White Oak company's 18-inch gas tube is idea to show the timing of opening the bolt down. What is telling if the bolt is opening under pressure is a black smoked cartridge stain that shouldn't be happening but with 15-inch rifle length gas tube the bolt is opening to soon

Is it legal to use thermal scopes in your area. If so I think it would be deadly! Here in the states they have become more and more popular and coyotes and hogs are hitting the ground in record numbers.

Some people eat them here in KZN. I've tried it twice. It's really not bad. It doesn't have that Iron rich wild game flavour. It's quite fatty and has a pork taste. Testure is like beef chuck or brisket. I think black bear is a delicacy on the other side of the world and I imagine they have similar diets. The thing is skinning them etc. It's a bit awkward. Feels weird. Anyway, 😊 that was my experience 🤷

Hello from Australia I’m old fellow but still enjoy hunting we also have big problem with big numbers of our native animals like possums ,fruit bats or kangaroo but we also have idiots in the federal and local parliaments as well especially when comes to the they can be harvested only by licences kangaroo hunters but none of the farmers don’t give a shit about it they are asking local shooters to fix a problem for example when wheat is about 1” long you can see plenty Roos on the field.Every crop farmer is doing the same but government is doing nothing to change this regulations and is trying to tight our already restricted gun law
