Thankfully there weren’t any moon germs. I’d imagine spending a birthday in quarantine wouldn’t be fun, but Neil Armstrong made the most of it

@@Kratos-eg7ez not exactly, needs to evolve to do so. Do it requires to at least be highly transmissible and infectious to be the case. That can be true while also not being deadly. And in that case while it’s jumping person to person it may evolve. But it’s lack of danger doesn’t imply a possibility

I spent my 70th in hospital. One of my nurses decorated my room with pictures of various critters in party hats, and a few streamers and a balloon. Later, some friends brought in a beautiful cake, and my kiddo brought me some very sweet gifts. When I turned on the tv in my room that morning, a 'still' card with Happy Birthday, and my name, and a cute picture of a smiling Border Collie and a Golden Retriever popped up on the screen. It was a nice day. Considering. (Nope. Not Corona.) (edit for typo)

Why would a lunar plague travel through air when the moon has no air
@thatonefriend2969
@thatonefriend2969 Жыл бұрын
@Quartz Quill its not sentient. If its good at sticking to particles which it needs to be to stay on the moon otherwise itd just eventually float off from the moonquakes or asteroid impacts. If its good at sticking to dry dust like whats on the moon its sure as hell gonna stick to wet air Thats how airborne things work they just stick to air molecules theyre not sentient beings deciding "hm! I will ride on the air currents today!"

@@QiqiNeedsCocogoatwould it even be able to tell, diseases aren’t intelligent and don’t develop strategies to spread. They develop with the best ability to spread the same way humans evolved, natural selection, they have to mutate the ability to spread through the air and then be successful enough in the process of spreading through the air to become the dominant strain. If a lunar virus evolved in a vacuum, it never would have evolved too spread through the air because it wasn’t exposed to an environment were that mutation was beneficial in the slightest.
