Great Video! I love that you mention about that Mark, Matthew and Luke being similar while John is quite different from the others. That is why Mark, Matthew and Luke are called the Synoptics. They are similar because the people who wrote those 3 gospels had copied and gathered information from the source that we call “Q”. This is why they are the same as the they are just expanded versions of the “Q” source (Markan Priority), except Mark is more of a direct copy of the Q source as the writers behind Mark didn’t bother with adding too much extra information. And of course the apostles Mark, Matthew, Luke and John never wrote any of the gospels. These gospels were written by their followers and almost all of them never met Christ as Matthew and John were written after 100A.D. Mark and Luke were written around 70A.D so there might have been at least some of them who would have at least met the actual apostles that their book was named after. But of course the video would have been less interesting if it had a group of people instead of just Matthew, Mark, Luke and John but I thought I should just mention this so that people don’t get confused.
