The dynamic, fluid and squishy animation style is just adorable. I love the insane amount of references and detail you put into the background, and especially the little story you told with it! After realizing the age of Bandanna Waddle Dee from this song, I have realized how much Kirby could be a shounen anime. Kirby: Main character who is a pure hearted idiot with god strength, but typically prefers the power of friendship. Bandanna Dee: Obsessive fanboy-turned-sidekick who’s always by the main character’s side. King Dedede: The main character’s old rival who at the start hated them but slowly started to become friends (like vegeta). Meta Knight: The main character’s mentor who is constantly trying to make sure the main character succeeds without getting ahead of them self.

Apples in the Kirby franchise haven't warmed my heart like this for longer than I'd like to admit. I'm all here for it. I love the style here. You've taken that screentone-heavy look that HAL's been using for so much Kirby artwork recently and really brought it into its own look here, I love the warm, comfy colors, and the amount of character in all of the animation is delightful!
